I was either inspired to ask you this or else just "inspired."<BR/><BR/>I have an online young Muslim friend from Oman who is very open minded and fascinated with Christianity and Judaism. I have been "dialoguing" with Muslims and others on this forum for years, explaining Catholic doctrine.<BR/><BR/>He reads the Bible and a year or so ago, he told me this story. His mother, who had been in a family feud with her sister for years, was about to meet her and asked him, "What do you think I should do?"<BR/><BR/>Braiki (my pal) said, "Mother, I think you should listen to what Jesus said, 'The rain falls on the just and the unjust alike'. I want you to remember that and forgive her.<BR/><BR/>They met, spoke, tears flowed and they were reconciled. <BR/><BR/>I would not say Braiki is ripe for conversion. Any such suggestion would irritate the heck out of him. But I would say that God is at work among the Muslims...I could give you countless example, some even more impressive.<BR/><BR/>The other day, Braiki told me that he is looking for a Catholic family in Pennsylvania with whom he could stay for a short while to see how Catholics live. He is in a position to do a room and board type thing, I think.<BR/><BR/>Any advice?
