These are going to be very interesting to read for me personally. I know that our experiences with the Church in China are very unique as we live in the much more "liberal" South China. Occassionally I do meet Chinese people who ask me if other Chinese people really believe all that stuff. And I have never had a problem getting a money-hungry cab driver taking me to any of the Shenzhen churches; a few even took me directly to the door, knowing exactly where I wanted to go. But again, I am in Shenzhen.
On another level, we are looking to move to Beijing, and I am interested to see how different it is going to be up there. For me the bright side is that the Shenzhen priests come out of Beijing, so I already know some of the priests up there. I hope that is a help.
