I recognized her as also having a seven year-old son who hasn't been to religious ed this year and is missing out on his sac prep. I mentioned this to her and her reply was, "I let Matthew decide if he wanted to go to classes this year and he decided not to." No surprise to me!! What seven year old (I am a mom of a seven year old and five other kids from 9months to 9 years)would elect to go to religious ed classes no matter how "fun" they may be!! It was all I could do to ask her if she received permission from her infant about his baptism. Perhaps this would be a good time to review the baptismal promises she made for this child and is about to make for her next.Alisa (Nathan's mom)noreply@blogger.com
