Though normally I would just keep them on my <a href="http://flickr.com/photos/schlomo/"> Flickr page</a>, there are members of my family who have never heard of Flickr. (Hi Mom!!) <br /><br />So here are a couple unedited shots from there. I've resized them to be small so they don't take up the whole page. Head over to my flickr page if you want to see them in normal size as well as pictures from my time there as well.<br /><br />More edited footage will be coming as the week goes on. Hopefully.<br /><br /><object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="200" height="150" data="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"> <param name="flashvars" value="intl_lang=en-us&photo_secret=26f5a20c72&photo_id=2585713718"></param> <param name="movie" value="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235"></param> <param name="bgcolor" value="#000000"></param> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235" bgcolor="#000000" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="intl_lang=en-us&photo_secret=26f5a20c72&photo_id=2585713718" height="150" width="200"></embed></object><br /><br /><object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="200" height="150" data="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"> <param name="flashvars" value="intl_lang=en-us&photo_secret=1dfb9720e7&photo_id=2584858781"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235"> <param name="bgcolor" value="#000000"> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235" bgcolor="#000000" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="intl_lang=en-us&photo_secret=1dfb9720e7&photo_id=2584858781" height="150" width="200"></embed></object> <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="200" height="150" data="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"> <param name="flashvars" value="intl_lang=en-us&photo_secret=4abc8418c1&photo_id=2584845993"></param> <param name="movie" value="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235"></param> <param name="bgcolor" value="#000000"></param> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235" bgcolor="#000000" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="intl_lang=en-us&photo_secret=4abc8418c1&photo_id=2584845993" height="150" width="200"></embed></object><br /><br /><object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="200" height="150" data="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"> <param name="flashvars" value="intl_lang=en-us&photo_secret=4bc3d9fc84&photo_id=2584564378"></param> <param name="movie" value="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235"></param> <param name="bgcolor" value="#000000"></param> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=49235" bgcolor="#000000" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="intl_lang=en-us&photo_secret=4bc3d9fc84&photo_id=2584564378" height="150" width="200"></embed></object>schlomo rabinowitzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09990115577097156377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12360120.post-24521198617826067872008-06-16T12:36:00.000-07:002008-06-16T12:52:44.909-07:00Goodbye To Bee - A Lip Dub<embed src="http://blip.tv/play/ykW9pRIA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="390" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed><br /><br /><br />The first of what will probably be plenty of videos of my time in Peru. People are living in tents; bathing in garbage; looting the homes. I´ve come here to work with <a href="http://burnerswithoutborders.org">Burners Without Borders</a>, a relief organization that has grown out of many of us who participate at Burning Man.<br /><br />I´ve embedded a video above that was shot last week here to promote one of our latest projects. (NOTE: I didn´t make the video and it was made the week prior of me arriving, but my videos are coming!) This project is about the creation of appropriate toilet facilities for families here in Pisco. The one above will be used by approximatly 130 familes. This is serious stuff, my friends. I don´t know about you, but I do most of my best thinking while sitting on the toilet. Think of all the help this will bring to this community!<br /><br />For the past couple days, I have been making temporary schoolhouses made out of bamboo. Their school is demolished, and these will be used for the next year until the school is rebuilt.<br /><br />Want to donate or help in some way? Check the Burners Without Borders website or shoot me an email. You can also find the org on such web2.0 sites like The Facebooks. Use your google, you know you can chip in. If this boy from the city can do it, you can too.<br /><br />I miss my home and my life, but sometimes you have to put those things on hold.schlomo rabinowitzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09990115577097156377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12360120.post-88246092894777123962008-04-21T15:40:00.001-07:002008-04-21T16:36:11.434-07:00Fugu Four Ways - Videoblogging Week 2008<embed src="http://blip.tv/play/ykWz_SsA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="300" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed><br /><a href="http://blip.tv/file/get/Schlomo-FuguFourWays199.mp4">Quicktime for iPhone/iPod</a><br /><br><br />Here is another installment of Schlomo Eats Something, this time its in Tokyo where I got to try out the dangerous pufferfish known as <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fugu">Fugu</a>, co-starring my buddy <a href="http://amino-tajee.com/">Tajee</a>.<br /><br><br />Also, feel free to subscribe to my videos in iTunes (there is a button on the top left!) or your favorite <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/EchoplexPark">RSS Reader</a> to get my videos in a timely fashion and on your iPod or iPhone or iWhateverYouHave!schlomo rabinowitzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09990115577097156377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12360120.post-73410255513763599932008-04-09T20:04:00.000-07:002008-04-09T20:58:28.827-07:00San Francisco Olympic Torch Run[ning from Protesters]<embed src="http://blip.tv/play/AbKPLA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed><br /><br />Here is a video I made while at the Olympic Torch ceremony here in San Francisco. Video People 2008, the first Videoblogging conference in Japan, was put together by the great folks at <a href="http://voice-bank.co.jp/">Voice Bank</a>, and this video shows some of the fine folks who work there. I'm really proud of how good their event went, and the hospitality they have shown me on my first visit to Japan is humbling to this loud fat American. <a href="http://amino-tajee.com/">Tajee</a> and her family even opened their house to me for the first couple days. Thanks Tajee's Mom!!<br /><br />The next day was running around Tokyo for <a href="http://dougajin.com/tokyo_hunt/">Tokyo Hunt</a>, an afternoon event where we just shot whatever came to mind.
