First it was one for the Emery Cat and I couldn't find a picture for it and the Potty Patch which I did find a picture of. The Emery Cat does seem like a good idea since it allows your beloved cat to do his or her own nails. But I wonder about the back paws since they just showed the front paws. They do have four feet with nails on them.

Cutting a cat's nails isn't fun and there's always the worry that you might cut too far down. I know I don't like when that happens to me but I can speak up unlike the cat. I can't speak cat although that's a thought. I don't think they have a Berlitz course for that. And as a bonus it comes with a cat toy that I'm sure will give the cat hours of fun or maybe five minutes. I know I'd be bored after batting that thing around for a while. I really need to find that nail clipper since I've having a toenail issue. Yes it seems the pinky toe or whatever you call the toe version has been split. I have no idea what I do in my sleep but I'm pretty sure it happened during that time since it was intact when I went to bed.

So last night it was the Potty Patch. Oh yes that's quite a lovely name. The dogs were all excited about it too. Um isn't this basically another type of kitty litter box? And yes for those of you with big dogs they have one for them too. It does make a kind of sense since all dogs can't use the toilet during the day. Now this takes care of the pee but what about the poo. Don't they need to take a crap sometime during the day? Unless they are scheduled. And supposedly it helps when you're training the dog. If you're training the dog why not try to get them to use the toilet instead. This sounds pretty nifty but I don't have a dog so I doubt I'll get one unless they want to give me one free. I guess I could try it out after all people pee too although there's no toilet paper that comes with it.

But what I wonder is whether or not either of these items could be used by a dog or a cat. Don't dogs need to trim their nails too? It says it holds large cats which might be fit with a large dog. They really should look into that since that might be an untapped gold mine so consider giving this gift for the cat or dog lover in your life. I know I'd be curious to see how they work but only if I get them free since I don't actually have money to buy them and no animals to try them on. Well there is that black puppy that is all eager. Sorry sweetie you're cute but I was read walking and trying to forget about the cold so no jumping on me please.

Ooh does this impress I was able to walk write last night? Well I wanted to take a few notes and I happened to be walking at the time. I've been thinking about that Days/Supernatural crossover that I'm thinking will be crackfic. I might see about getting started on it today but it depends on a few things like whether or not the muse if that's what she is after all I do have that comma phobia to deal with and there are a few other things I could be writing instead. And the weather isn't making me all that thrilled either. Yes it is quite dreadful and there's talking with numbers that I reject as temperatures.

Bah Humbug to that crap. I don't like the cold and never will. I can't even use the word cold because that doesn't begin to cover the horror that awaits me outside. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a penguin walking outside. I did spot a squirrel going up the roof although I'm not sure why. He sat on the edge for a bit and I'm guessing he went to join his buddy in the tree. I'm not sure who they were since I've lost track of the squirrels around here after the tragic hit and run accident involving Chester Squirrel. I know I didn't do it since I don't drive so it would be hard for me to to.

The Bug Slayer had to come out but it was a tiny spider so no worries. I just killed and flushed the little fucker. No I don't like bugs at all. I hope they all freeze to death and leave me the hell alone. You would think they should know better by now that the Bug Slayer means business. I don't like any bugs escape not that the place is crawling with bugs since it is more an odd bug here and there. I have noticed that the ants are smart enough to stay away. I guess the spiders don't listen to the ants or maybe they want me to kill them off. If that's the case I really think they should compensate me for my trouble.

The Lunatic Cafe

Yes I'm still reading and I wonder if I'm the only one that isn't wooed by Jean-Claude. Frankly he's just an ass if you ask me. If you haven't read the first three you really should since this is the type of series that continues although I won't call the Book Police on you but I do warn you that it just flows better reading them starting with the first instead of the fourth which is the number of this book. So that means I'll be reading Bloody Bones.

Anita's now dating Richard who just so happens to be a werewolf. They did meet in an interesting way so you'll have to read about that if you haven't already read the book where they meet. Anyhoo Anita's in quite a pickle because she has work to do and it isn't helping that she ends up having to fight for her life against the monsters. I'll admit that I forgot about Richard asking Anita something although I've read this book before. A jealous vampire wants Anita to break the news to Jean-Claude which I find ridiculous.

So she ends up telling him this but with things iffy at the moment after Anita seems Richard's furry side she isn't so sure about things although she does love Richard. Frankly I think the whole ting with Jean-Claude is purely lust. Come on vampires and humans just don't make for a good relationship since they are just doomed to failure. Jean-Claude forces Anita into agreeing to let him try to woo her. So I just wanted to take a stake and stake the asshole since I really don't think much of him.

Since Anita works with the police she's called in on a case and ends up getting stuck in the middle of one involving missing people who aren't just people. Yes once again Anita's ass deep in alligators but of course she makes it through otherwise the series would end with this book. Even though this date predates the Sookie Stackhouse books by a bit over a decade I do see similarities since they are both danger magnets although Anita's job doesn't help matters any.

The Lunatic Cafe (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter)

I did do a babble post so scroll down or click on the blog name to do the click on scroll if you came to this post via the URL of it or the actual blog URL. I wouldn't mind going somewhere else. Of course Cheap Car Hire would be a must since I'm a girl that enjoys getting the best deal. Yes I'm the girl that looks around for the best price. It would be pretty cool to go away somewhere and rent a car that I would never be able to have in reality so at least for a little while I could pretend the car is mine.

I've never given a lot of thought to what kind of car I want but I've given it a little bit. I'm not really a fan of big cars although I think that might have changed since I became a Supernatural fan. Yes the Impala is a pretty big car but I think the biggest appeal would be the two Winchester boys that come with it. It does seem like it would be a handy car because you can fit quite a bit in that trunk. They put their hunting supplies in there so I'm sure that even the heaviest packer could fit all their stuff in the trunk. It would have to be black since any other color just wouldn't do.

Bah Humbug!

Who knew that fixing a garage door would be so loud. I didn't not that I've been wandering around listening to garage doors being fixed since that would be weird. Yes it is all crappy outside and egads I saw a four for a temperature which is jsut wrong. That's not a temperature. I refuse to acknowledge that and that would be the low. Well of course that's low since that's a pretty small number. There aren't many smaller numbers than four so I sure as hell won't be calling that a temperature. Give me fifty or hell I think I'd accept forty at this point. I bet even the penguins are complaining about the weather.

At least I finally got the chicken. It isn't good when I'm deprived of my chicken. The soup only goes so far and I don't even eat the soup part or I guess drink it since I just have the noodles and chicken. I'll be dining on chicken tonight since I happen to enjoy chicken. I wonder if there's a chicken fairy. Probably not. Could you imagine the outfit. I'm picturing a flying chicken dressed up like the Snack Fairy complete with a wand clucking. I haven't clucked yet but there migth have been some snorting sometime this week.

On the dreams front there's been nothing really. Okay there was someone talking about eating a boulder which doesn't make any sense since you'd have to have teeth of steel unless dream boulders are like cupcakes. There was also a dancing dog in another so nothing really exciting. So I haven't had much luck in remembering any dreams. I kind of doubt that I'll write anything with them but you never know with me after all there was the sock dream and the Golden Girl dream. I still can't figure that one out. Wouldn't you be a little weirded out if Sophia showed up dressed like a pirate dancing in your dream?

I do have a few ideas swirling around and I might see about starting up that Supernatural/Days one or maybe something else. I'm just not sure right now. I'll see what happens. I might go with the Supernatural one since that's in progress and there might be a Passions one too. Damn I miss Norma and her axe. It would be her and Edna's wedding anniversary. Okay not really since it was in Julyish I think. I'd have to check that for sure. Ooh maybe I'll see about putting some more plot bunnies up too. As for the remodeling I almost have all the sections done at my website and damn it the itch has returned so I better nip that in the bud stat since I don't like when the itch begins. Maybe it's a sign of the crappy weather so I'll avoid looking outside until it goes away.

Currently Reading

Am I Red Or Green?

You Are Red

You are a passionate, outgoing, and intense person. I think my first would be from The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. I just can't get enough of them which is why I love The Vampire Diaries among other shows. I'm just glad that unlike Moonlight this show is doing well since CBS really screwed up with that. Since I do love vampires the thought of having vampire chat free sounds appealing. It is always great to have things in common since that's what gets the ball rolling when you meet someone and vampires are loved by many.

I know I could come up with a long list of vampires that I just adore. And yes the Salvatore brothers are on the list. Sure Damon's supposed to be the evil brother but I can't help but find him appealing. Of course the compulsion he can use on humans might have something to do with that. Oh who cares he's hot and isn't afraid to take his shirt off like another hot set of brothers that shall remain nameless. While I love vampires I really don't think it would be so great to be one since eternity is a long time.

Just think about it for a second being immortal and seeing everyone else die while you stay the same. Sure it might be cool to see how things change but the other part is a real downer unless you find someone to spend eternity with and it can be tough enough just finding someone for one lifetime. Would you really want to walk through eternity all alone? Sounds a bit depressing to me but if I could have Damon or maybe Angel I think I could handle that.

Nightlight

When I heard about this I thought I'd check it out so off I went to the library and finally it came. I don't know what I was expecting really. The first thought was that's it. For some reason I thought it would be bigger. When I started reading it I was actually glad it wasn't longer. Unless you've been hiding under a rock you know about the Twilight craze. Yes the pages are lined with crack that just sucks you in and this would be poking fun at it after all looked at the eaten apple on the cover. Am I the only one that didn't really get the covers of the Twilight Saga?

Maybe I'm just a moron but hell even me who easily confuses with the way I write or my attempt at writing after all I do have that comma phobia I have to admit that this book is all over the place. If it went smoother I think it would have been better but that just might be me. I guess cracky was the whole point and if you've read the Twilight Saga you're going to recognize things in this book or if you've avoided it you might be amused by this book.

Belle moves to Switchblade from Arizona. I guess that's better than living in a car with him and her mother since they are touring around the area. She ends up meeting Edwart. Yes I love the name and she seems to think he's a vampire. She seems to think everyone wants her even the mailman although I'm thinking the reason he asked her to say hi to her dad was because of them being friends. Jim her father is a window washer or something. So if you're in the mood to read something really weird and not something written by me you might want to check this out since you might get a few giggles out of it. And who knows maybe after reading this my writing won't seem so off.

Nightlight: A Parody

Writing

It seems like people just aren't writing these days. Now it isn't always possible to write a letter but I happen to like getting mail even if it is just a postcard. Email and texts are on the impersonal side. There's also the whole textspeak thing that tends to go over my head. Yes I'm one of those people that more often than not has to look something up. I had to keep looking up LMAO because it just wouldn't get through although now I know what that means. Postcards can be really pretty too since they usually have pictures on them.

Sure you can send one when you're on vacation so you can let friends or family know how things are going but it could also be a possible collection. I've used cards as pictures since they do have some really nice pictures. I guess I was born in the wrong century since I happen to like writing although I do have pen problems at times. I'm not sure if that's because I'm left handed or not but some pens work better than others. I'd much rather get a letter or a postcard instead of an email since it shows that the person took time to contact me instead of through wires.

What Did I Get Myself Into?

I guess it started because I was bored but it has spiraled out of control at this point. Now I don't like Christmas at all so the fingers are crossed that the weather thing on the menu is wrong because I don't like the looks of it but all of a sudden Dear Santa letters started showing up on my website. Yes residents in Salem are writing to Santa so if you want to see what they want you can stop by Moonlight Dwelling and take a look around. I just hope I'm not being discussed as another one of those guilty of bad fan fiction. Sure I have that comma phobia but hopefully I don't completely suck.

I might see about posting something else since I do have a Legend Of The Seeker thing in progress along with a few ideas lurking around in my head. Also I did do a book post earlier that was posted earlier than I planned it due to me putting AM instead of PM so I went with it in the AM but not at the AM it was saying. Don't worry you shouldn't get lost. Just stop when you see the book cover.

Currently Reading: Stephen King's It Circus of the Damned (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter)

Starting A Business

One thing I've considered doing was starting a business but it can be quite overwhelming since it is risky along with there being different options. A franchise business sounds like a possibility because there are opportunities for that and if the place has a name that's known to the public chances are better that it will succeed. Of course there's also the possibility of just having a small online business providing some type of service. It does require thought because you can't just wake up one morning and declare you're going to start a clown makeup business.

Of course this requires homework so I can figure out what type of business I want to go with. I would think it would be best to go with something I'm familiar with so baking cakes would be out since I'm not that great in the kitchen. It is something to consider because having my own business would give me the freedom to do what I want without someone looking over my shoulder telling me what to do. Now I just need to figure out what type of business along with making a plan if investing is needed to get it up and going along with a name. The name is also important.

Circus Of The Damned

I thought I'd go with the weird cover although this isn't my cover. What in the hell is that anyway? Yes it is another mystery cover. The one I have makes more sense since there is a big ass snake in the book. Not literally of course. If there was I'd still be running and screaming much like Cordy did when she escaped from the library in the season two finale of Buffy. Not a fan of snakes at all or boogers falling out of books. I guess it could have been a snack since someone people eat them. I'm not sure why but hey maybe they are low calorie snacks.

So I'm continuing my journey or rather rejourney into the world of Anita Blake and I'm already reading the fourth although by the time this posts I just might be close to reading the fifth. Since this is a series I suggest you go back to the first book since it's just better that way. Yes I'm a girl that reads books in order along with doing the walking reading thing. Sadly no one wants to pay me to do that even though it seems to impress some people.

Like the first two books this title is also the name of a place so there are clowns with fangs. Like clowns weren't scary enough without the fangs already. Come on you know Pennywise scares the hell out of you. It's just a good thing he isn't around here. And this is the book where Richard is introduced who Anita ends up dating. Well he is better than a dead guy. Come on we all know by now that vampires and humans are never a good combo and if there's a curse thrown in things get really bad. Jean-Claude why can't you just leave the poor girl alone.

Since Death never takes a holiday more murders show up but this time it reveals a master being in town with a pack. And speaking of Death Edward is back which means he wants to kill someone or rather something. Well if you want to know who he wants to kill you'll just have the read the book. What is it with Anita anyway and master vampires? Yes she gets into a bit of trouble and hell there's a lamia thrown in. What I found weird was the lamia who was a snake creature when it it usually another word for vampire.

So are there different types? In the Night World series by LJ Smith the born vampires are called lamias. And once again Anita gets marked. Oh what a pickle she's in but she's a survivor after all there are many books to go. It goes up to I think seventeen at this point so of course she won't die in her own series unless she does in the very last book. Yes I enjoyed the book otherwise I wouldn't be reading it again. It's just handy to finally have the books instead of having to rely on the series to enjoy it. Sadly the book fairy hasn't paid me a visit. Does someone know a way to get in contact with him or her?

Circus of the Damned (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter)

Just Being Weird Again

Since I'm weird I ended up getting a little fixated on why and when Tinkerbell became Tinker Bell. That would mean her first name is Tinker. It seems to have happened when Tinkerbell got her makeover and was revealed to live in Pixie Hollow. Am I the only one that finds the spelling of Tinker Bell weird? When you say it it is one whole word and it's always been like that until Pixie Hollow showed up. I tried to find out more but couldn't find anything beyond Tinkerbell supposedly being the wrong spelling. I say it should be one name because splitting it up just looks stupid. Sure you can shorten it to Tink but come on her first name would be Tinker although none of the other pixies including the Queen have a last name so why is she so special?

Since I'm on a weird track I'm also wondering about the mystery of the slide. How do you keep it from flipping over to the wrong side? I don't want to go around with the slide all backwards since that just seems weird? Of course I'm weird so I guess it would be fitting. Now I have something similar to this one but I'll admit it was a bit cheaper not that this one is major big bucks since it is a pretty good price. The chain runs through the holes and the gemstone's ass for lack of another word is just riding in the breeze. Sure that allows for better sparkling but is it really good to have a chain rubbing against the stone? Okay that sounds dirty but I didn't mean it that way.

After thinking about it a bit I thought maybe there's some tape like they have to keep your boobs in place. I'm not sure where you get boob tape but maybe they have slide tape so you can keep it in place and it doesn't flip around. Does anyone have any tips on how to keep it from flipping? I don't want to be looking down at the thing ever ten seconds to make sure it isn't mooning anyone with the bare ass showing although a gem doesn't really have an ass.

Sure diamonds are pretty but I don't have money which means I go with the fakes. Hey if someone asks if the thing is real you could always say yes after all it isn't fake because that would mean it didn't exist so that would be a loophole. Of course that could lead to someone mugging you for your fake diamond. Now I'm not a fan of this time of year since I find the whole thing depressing but the commercials on TV do amuse. Yes I mute the volume when they have some stupid Christmas type song playing or singing or whatever but then they have the jewelry ones.

And they use the word only like shelling out six hundred bucks is just pocket change. Oh sure I can get that in my couch. Nope I think I'd be lucky if I could find a dime but I'd be more likely to find a stale piece or cereal or maybe even a piece of chicken down there. No I wouldn't eat it if I found it since there are rules to follow when it comes to dropping food and picking it up and eating it although there was that one time I picked up the chip that I was clueless about the age of. Well it didn't kill me so I guess it wasn't too old but I drew the line when it came to that fry I found.

Currently Reading

Stop-Loss/The Attic

Well that just sucks making me wait three weeks for the stupid network to air the remaining three episodes because they're too stupid to keep a great show while keeping lame shit on the air. Yes I'm talking about you stupid American Idol among others. And what's up with that stupid fifth grader thing anyway? Oh sure I'm going to watch a show with freakishly smart kids. They can be creepy enough without having ginormous brains. End of rant at least for the time being.

I think one problem and this isn't a slight against Eliza but things are a bit unbalanced since there's too much Echo and not enough of the others. Sure she's the main focus but come on give Sierra something to do other than going into the chair to get a treatment. Didn't anyone else want to see her engagement when she was dressed like Jackie O and asked Ivy to spank her? But this time things weren't so focused on Echo since Victor's back story was finally revealed. All that I knew was that he wasn't a soldier. It turns out that he must have had a major case of Post Traumatic Stress since Topher actually felt good about helping him unlike Sierra when he found out the truth about how she got into the Dollhouse and his name is Tony. He looks like a Tony.

Since Victor's time in the Dollhouse Adelle decides to have a last encounter with Rodger. Damn I wonder who this guy is. He has to be someone from her past. But and how sweet is this he's unable to do it because he's in love with someone else but of course he can't tell her who it is. That doesn't make her too happy. No wonder she's so cranky and she's doing a lot of drinking. So he ends up getting released and taken to the Hyperion. I wondered what happened to the place and hey it got remodeled. Well it was never seen again after Angel and the others moved to Wolfram & Hart. But I knew something was wrong when someone took a picture of him.

Before he left Echo told Victor that he wasn't coming back so he should say goodbye to Sierra. He just waved not completely getting it. And how adorable was it when he gave Sierra his strawberries? They were going to have dinner together but of course they didn't because he was released from his contract but once you're released you still have that GPS strip in you so you aren't really released at all. How funny that Sierra said that Victor wasn't ready to be on his own. I do appreciate Victor being shirtless so much and yes a few porns popped into my head. I can't believe I didn't have bathtub porn on the list.

I wouldn't laugh if a cutie like him asked me if we knew each other. He saw Sierra so his mind might be erased of her but his heart isn't. He ended up going back to his room and couldn't sleep in the bed. This led to him sleeping in the tub and aw Sierra missed Victor so she was sleeping with a pillow. While he was sleeping men snuck into his room and kidnapped him. Topher knew something was wrong when his brainwaves went all squiggly. It turns out that he's recruited for some weird super soldier thing that just reminded me of the borg only much better looking after all that Victor is pretty easy on the eyes. I wonder why he said yes since it sounded like something horrible happened when he was in the war but of course he doesn't remember that.

So they need to go rescue him and the gang finds out that this isn't the first time a doll's been recruited by this place which just so happens to be owned by Rossum. Echo gets all loaded up with fighty stuff and Sierra ends up getting her original self back so Pryia's back. She wasn't too happy about that because she remembered killing Nolan but if she didn't have that memory she wouldn't have Victor because she met him at that party. They couldn't have Sierra go with them since she's Pryia's minus all the baggage and wouldn't really be able to grasp everything that was going on. So they get caught and Echo takes out the soldiers but since they can all see what the others see Victor's able to find them.

It wasn't looking good but she finally got through to him so he didn't kill her like he was ordered too. Echo asked about a way out and then knocked him out so the others would think they were going out that way. She ends up getting the thingie in the back of the head that hooks them all. I guess it came in handy to have all those people in her head since it allows her to stop the soldiers and I guess she sent them home although I'm not so sure they'd be able to go home just like that after all this is Rossum and that Harding dude knew what was going on pretty quick. He ended up waking up Adelle who had passed out on her desk.

They were free so Echo stops the car and tells them to leave after all they are themselves so they can go off and be together. Of course that would have been great but it just seemed a little too easy. They were about to go when hello someone used that remote wipe thingie again so they all went back and hey that's cheating because Victor's contract or rather Tony's contract was already up. They all end up in the attic and Adelle was pissed so yes I was blown away at the end but I haven't gotten there yet so just keep on reading if you dare.

So they were put in these coffin things full of water wearing white unitards or whatever along with saran wrap place over them. A tube was down their throats and they were hooked up to a monitor. They were ultimately trapped in their worst nightmare but Echo figured things out although I have to say I really didn't like seeing Sierra and Victor killed but that allowed her to break free of that failed escape that would have gone on and on and on. She ends up going outside where there's a tree and other things from her past. There's this black shadow person and hello she ends up running into Dominic.

Arcane is the black shadow person that's going around killing people. It seems they can jump into other peoples heads and that totally reminded me of Nightmare On Elm Street when Echo got into the chair and fell through it landing in some Japanese guy's head. He didn't seem to realize that he was in the attic. He was in a restaurant and he wanted to enjoy himself. I'm not sure how much you can enjoy yourself with your legs chopped off and I wonder if that's what he was eating. Echo tries to get him to go with her but he stays put which means the poor guy ends up getting killed by Arcane. Dominic shows up and they have to get out since I'm thinking they'd die too if they were still there when the guy died. So did they eat the legs to escape?

Victor's fighting himself so I'm guessing that has to do with some trauma he suffered while he was a soldier but his loop was broken and they found Sierra. Sierra's loop or whatever you want to call it starts out really good because she's with Victor. And yes he was shirtless again but damn it Victor ends up turning into Nolan which isn't so pleasant. Hey he was dismembered so how did he get reassembled? They end up setting a trap for Arcane but hello he ends up turning into a person whose name is Clyde. He's the guy that developed the technology along with a buddy of his that betrayed him but he doesn't know if it's a he or a she. I was thinking it could be Adelle after all British. It turns out that Caroline is the one that knows who the other person is.

So the Dollhouse has been around since 1993 and this guy has been stuck there ever since. He goes around killing to try to disrupt things. They are using the brains of people as a computer. Well we only use 10% of our brains and in some cases I'm thinking some people use even less. Echo ends up getting shot since once the person flat lines the machine deactivates you. Dominic doesn't want to risk it but Victor and Sierra decide to do it. Is it strange that I found it sweet when the two of them were holding onto each other and he stabbed her? Maybe I'm just a bit twisted. He ends up going outside to the world that is in the future like shown in Epitaph and gets shot. It seems there is some time since the dude said they could possibly change things.

Echo's able to revive herself and to kill the chick and the guy. She ends up reviving Sierra and Victor but not Dominic. And hello to the mind blowing part when it gets revealed that Adelle was working with Caroline to bring down the Dollhouse. See she isn't evil at all. She specifically wanted her because the girl obviously knows the other person. I do wonder if Bennett does too since she and Caroline were best friends. Yeah Bennet's memory did make Caroline look like a cold, unfeeling bitch but that wasn't the whole story and since the girl's obviously not all there who knows what the whole story is regarding that memory where she ends up getting a dead arm.

So everyone is in on things and it was nice that Ivy was included along with Topher and Boyd. Aw how cute Boyd and Topher had a moment where they were drinking. They were even able to bring Paul back well sort of. They used the architecture whatever thing which means they made a doll of Paul. Yes I'll admit to some confusion but it is him but there's something missing. The missing part is going to make Paul angry so I wonder what it is. Maybe it's his obsession with Echo/Caroline. At first he was all word salad but eventually he was talking normally. He wasn't too happy about finding out that he was a doll of himself but hey it was the only way to save him. And now I have to wait three weeks to find out what happens next. That is just cruel.

White Witch, Black Curse

Sure there was a delay because I was reading the first six before getting this one which means it was sitting around while I was doing that. Yes I go back to the first book every time another one comes on and this time wasn't different. I actually discovered this series when the first three or probably four since they were all paperbacks. So I got behind and didn't realize it was up to seven but luckily I was able to get it from the library but damn there must have been a lot of people reading it since the spine was cracked and there was a ripped page by the time I got my hands on it.

I had no clue it was already out in paperback otherwise I would have gotten it. I'll see about doing that since I'll be reading the first seven books before the eighth one when that comes out. There was a brief scare when I thought I wouldn't be able to renew it. Since this wasn't my book I couldn't cuddle up with it and I'm not a fan of hardbacks anyway and of course there's always the threat of a booger falling out of the book so that slowed things down. Now that doesn't mean anything at all since I loved the book and love the series.

I've heard people going on how they don't like this books but I did. I'm not a girl that sees a negative review and lets that influence whether or not I read a book. I think the main complaint was about Ivy and Rachel never becoming a couple. I really don't see that happening since Ivy's in love with Rachel while Rachel just loves her as a friend. Hey that's just my impression and I wouldn't object to them becoming a couple but I just don't seem them doing it in the books while fan fiction is a whole other story. They are still searching for Kisten's killer and don't worry it finally gets revealed. No I won't be telling you who did it or if it was a male or a female. You'll just have to read the book.

I do feel that Rachel really got the shaft. I can see what it and no I'm not telling you what it is gets it but not so much with Rachel. It just shows how judgmental people are. Sure she uses black magic at times but it is always with good intentions and to save rather than destroy lives. It does suck that Marshall ended up leaving but I guess in the context of what happened you can't really blame the guy although it kind of shows that maybe his feelings for Rachel weren't as strong as he thought.

Finally Rachel's brother shows up in this book and I have to say I don't really like him. He's a bit of an ass if you ask me. Robbie has a lot of nerve coming back being all judgey when he ditched the family when their father died. I'm talking about the man that raised them not Takata. And hello you find out what his real name is. Come on like anyone names their kid Takata? Okay maybe someone would after all two stupid name examples are Apple and Orange. Yes Orange is an actual person's name. What were they thinking? Don't name your kid after your favorite fruit. Imagine the horrors if you were named Banana or maybe Grapefruit.

White Witch, Black Curse (The Hollows, Book 7)

Tea And Psychopathy

It really sucks that this show was cancelled but at least the stupid network is airing all of the episodes even though this is deja vu Pushing Daisies. They should have put it on Sunday and advertise it since that's how people find out about a show. Oops once again a mini rant emerges but you can't blame me since this show is really getting good.

Kat is flying high over her healing powers but she doesn't realize that they take their toll. Ray even accuses her of doing drugs when her nose starts bleeding. Uh asshole who appointed you Father Of The Year? Instead of being concerned he gets all nasty about it. Sure the one that came home from a twelve hour shift should take the kids to school. Um no the asshole should that's on his way to work since he's wide awake instead of exhausted and her case looking pretty ragged. And it wasn't looking good with her in the tub gone bloody from yet another bloody nose.

Max decides to let Joanna help him with a story since he's getting nowhere. He wants to find out more about Gloria which leads them to Eleanor. I'm wondering if she's just trapping them their with whatever she put in the tea so the plan to kill Darryl goes off without a hitch but of course there's a hitch. I don't think I'd want to be stuck on the after birth soaked couch either since it doesn't sound very pleasant. I hope she got the thing cleaned although I wonder why she hasn't gotten a new one. I guess she likes the couch.

Jamie went about it the wrong way. If you're going to try to get a friend to kill your father don't whack the dude on the head and ask her to kill him with the dagger while holding a gun on her. He asked for her help with his father so she invited the two over for dinner assuming it was going to be a father/son reunion not realizing that he wanted her to kill the man because he's evil. You end up looking like the bad guy when you're the one doing the threatening so now it looks like that vision Roxie had is coming true although she did end up stabbing him. That isn't a betrayal that's the girl trying to get away from the crazy man saying kill this man or I'm going to kill you.

It did in a way seem like he thought he might die when he was talking to Penny although I really think the thing he'd been waiting for was the encounter with his father. Of course Darryl denied the whole thing saying others pretended to be his children. What did he do with them? Kill the perhaps? Of course he's the father since he was Sebastian Hart. I feel bad for Penny since she really likes the guy and has no clue what he was planning. Too bad she doesn't have powers of her own but her sex hair looked really good.

I did enjoy it when Kat made the icicles fall on Ray. He's such an asshole and if he thinks revealing to everyone what Kat can do will help him win a court case he's nuts. It will just make him look crazy even if it is true. The healing isn't a good thing at least not the way she does it. She does seem to have better control over things but she overdid it with the healing since I'm guessing she did it all through her shift. That isn't something you can just do over and over again without something happening to her. Her hair is turning white and she's bleeding all in the tub. That's going to be the longest soak in the tub ever but I doubt that she'll die.

It isn't looking good for any of them. Joanna and Max are in some secret compartment under the floor at Eleanor's place supposedly dying of poison but all it seems to have done is paralyze them. Never trust anyone that has a chicken for a pet. She tried to use her powers but they didn't seem to be working. If it was poison wouldn't it have started working? They couldn't move at least the lower half of them so I'm thinking she isn't going to kill them because she knows Joanna is a witch too although Roxie for some reason is the chosen one when it comes to killing Darryl, Can he even be killed?

How Many Languages Can I Say Merry Christmas In?

You Can Say "Merry Christmas" in 9 Languages

You can say "Merry Christmas" in:

English

Spanish

Japanese

Arabic

Gaelic

Hawaiian

Dutch

Korean

Esperanto

How Many Languages Can You Say "Merry Christmas" In?

Blogthings: We're Not Shrinks, But We Play Them On the Internet

I'm kind of impressed. I didn't expect to get so many. I guess I'm a good guesser. I just went with the hey it looks like this language and hey I don't think I did too badly considering. So how many did you get? Is this thing on? Just don't ask me to pronounce them since that's where I draw the line.

Free Press Release

Check out Free Press Release where you can sign up for free. All of the windows show up at the bottom unless there are so many you have a list of them. I did put Firefox back so I can get spellcheck since I can't do it at my website. Speaking of the website I did add the Wiki thing and decided to use it for people who are members to post their fan fiction. That does have a spellcheck so I think it could actually work. It seems fairly simple and if I'm saying that anyone can do it. I bet this penguin could even figure it out although I'm thinking this is a chick that thinks he's a penguin.

Well I'm often confused myself too so who knows what this little guy is thinking. At least the temperature is an actual temperature outside. I don't like it when it gets unnaturally cold and that white stuff I want no part of it. But I do think my penguin curse might be broken. I recently got a little penguin pendant and had forgotten that I had another one that had gone missing which I ended up finding. I also had the one I got from Penny's courtesy of the wonderful ten dollar coupon thing and a sale which means it costs like two bucks or something. That one was never lost because I put it on a bracelet.

I don't know why I'd lose them but there were a few over the years which really sucked since the little guy was cute. It wasn't like I could just pop down to Seaworld to get another one. I think I had maybe two of them and one might have been stolen. Hopefully I'll be able to hang on this time. I am puzzled about the one wearing a scarf. Why would a penguin wear a scarf? I guess even they can get cold. I don't get the appeal of the freakisly cold but to each their own.

I was able to get to the library today although I got lucky with that book I'm finishing up. I'll have it done but luck was with me for a change since I was able to renew it. I did get Nightlight and I have to admit I was expecting a bigger book. Since it is a parody of Twilight I was thinking it would be around the same length. Sure that's a stupid thought to have but I was expecting more unless there's more in the works. I will babble about that when I finish it. I've decided to not babble about every single book I read. So if the book is newish or a series I'll do that instead.

How odd I was reading three books which isn't the odd part but while I was juggling the books I picked one of the James Patterson books and oddly enough it turned out to have vampires in it. Yes that would be the odd part since I don't think vampires when I think of him although I really don't think of him at all but there were a bunch of paperbacks at the library so I took advantage of that. Well they are easier to carry and do the read walking thing with.

I finally found that hair clip that's been missing. I had no clue where it was but I proved myself to be a moron when I found it in the pocket of my jacket. Nope I never thought to look there. I put it there when it was falling off. I find it works best right after washing my hair since I don't bother with the blowdryer. I just find it to be a big pain and the clip does stop the dripping. It just takes too long to dry.

Currently Reading

The Chair Test

You Are Sophisticated and Well Mannered

You're the type of person who can sit all day entertaining guests with witty banter.

You believe in presenting yourself in the best light possible. So if you're not sure about the place find out what others are saying about it before making up your mind. Information on how you can contact them can be found on the website. They are also located in New Jersey. Before you know it you'll need to get your taxes done so why not check this place out. They can also provide business consulting. Just imagine flying through the sky being able to drop things on the people down below although I draw the line at going to the bathroom even though it would be pretty funny as long as you're not the one getting peed or pooed on.

How Much Do I Love The Holidays?

You Love the Holidays More than Anyone

The holidays are a special time for you, and you try to keep the holiday spirit going all year long.

You believe that this season is all about giving, and you love the chance to practice generosity.

Whether you're making someone smile with the perfect gift or feeding everyone cookies, the holidays always elevate your mood.

Just putting on your favorite holiday song always warms your heart. This is really handy because you might find yourself in a situation where you need something. It is always great when you can just go online because it isn't always convenient to go to the store and for some there might not be a place nearby that sells what you need. So regardless of what you might need this would be the place to check out. When you're caring for someone that requires medical equipment you can't always run out to the store so it is great that you can just go online and get what you need. It is very easy to find your way around.

The Laughing Corpse

What is up with this cover? My cover doesn't look like that. I'm not even sure what that is. Go on and get the laughing out of the way at the idiot that can't figure out this cover. Is that a table with some weird ass candle holders? Probably not. I guess this is the guess what in the hell is on the cover version. Yes I'm continuing my journey or rejourney in the case of this book since I'm rereading until I get to the ones I've never read. I think I went up to Obsidian Butterfly and just never got around to reading past that point. Since I'm not one to go by what others say I'm going to keep on reading even though there are people who hate the last half of the series. Well my thought about that would be that if no one was reading they wouldn't still be coming out so why the hell not. If someone tells me no I'm more inclined to read it for myself and everyone has different tastes so I just might like it.

As if it wasn't bad enough that Anita's halfway to becoming Jean-Claude's love monkey er I mean human servant this would be the least of her worries at this point. That was pretty shitty of him to do that in the last book. There's a killer zombie on the loose which is always exciting and this one eats human flesh. Don't forget to lock up after you go inside at night otherwise you might find yourself getting eaten and not in a good way. Yes getting eaten by a zombie would certainly go on my list of ways I don't want to die if I actually had a list which I don't. And Anita finds out something about Manny. There's also a word of the day for you if you don't know what a hornless goat is. Sounds dirty to me and quite possibly might make a decent drink.

So Anita's looking for a killer while trying to stay alive. It certainly isn't helping that there's a guy that just won't take no for an answer. Yes I'm talking to you Jean-Claude. Give a girl some breathing room. Just because you don't breathe doesn't mean a girl wants to be all pressured by you and your quest to make me your love monkey er human servant. Obviously I love the series hence the rereading although I haven't finished reading it yet and that might change although I'm trying to be all positive. It is a new thing but who knows maybe it'll take or maybe I'll get a wart and name it Freddy. It really does help to have the books so I can read them after all I know I won't be having a booger encounter while reading them since they are mine. Don't ask but that really changed the way I read library books.

Meet Jane Doe/A Love Supreme

It's bad enough that this show has been cancelled but come on Fox do you have to shit on me further by having the sound all wonky too? Yes I watched but the sound was weird. Well it was more like someone would say something like Adelle only to have the same thing said again. Someone I doubt that was the actual episode and there were some mute moments. Was there a monkey loose that kept pushing the mute while I was watching? Can't a girl just watch in peace?

I'm a bit annoyed with Paul because he seems to have totally forgotten about poor Madeline who was last seen in the crazy ass hand and dead hand of crazy Bennett. No he's all about Echo who he's just obsessed with. For three months he's been training Echo and I'm thinking the whole thing where Galena gets broken out of jail was a trial run to prepare for the big day when she gets all the dolls out. That's going to be quite the challenge since the 23rd Dollhouse is going to be opening in Dubai. I just hope Sierra doesn't get sent there.

Adelle gets demoted but that doesn't last since she gets her old job back and all it requires is stabbing Topher in the back. I think she was jealous of him because he was teacher's pet. How adorable Victor and Sierra were doing the doctor thing. No mention was made of Clare either. I'm thinking she doesn't have the GPS strip thingie either otherwise they would have found her. Harding saw Victor and Sierra all cuddly wuddly although Topher did try to break them up when he wiped them with his little wiper thingie. That didn't stop them from walking off together so the dude noticed that.

Poor Galena was in prison for three months and it was all Echo's fault. I think I'm getting why Bennett hates her so much. The girl was just trying to use food stamps to get something to eat and because Echo stole some food and gave it to her the girl was stuck in prison until she was busted out. She only had to deal with the crappy cops who beat her and hello Mr FBI Guy from Charmed you got demoted didn't you? That was pretty shitty of them but I guess they'll use the whole greater good thing as an excuse but at least they got her a new identity although I'm not sure if that really makes up for the three months of hell she suffered.

Alpha came back and started killing off the guys and hell some girls since there were seven of them because he's nuts so who really knows what his reasoning is. That included Joel. Ooh Boyd is being all naughty working with Paul and disobeying Adelle who wanted Echo in isolation until she found out why she managed to survive three months on her own. She even though that Alpha might have helped her but I'm thinking she probably knew it was most likely Paul after all why would Alpha just let her go?

Well isn't that nice Joel has a real fiancee so he isn't visiting the Dollhouse anymore. All of the dolls were wiped and hello that played into Alpha's hands since he made some virus which allowed them to all go into fighty mode when Alpha came back in. How odd he wasn't so kill happy this time. Alpha is always fun to enjoy since he's that fun evil. Maybe if it wasn't so all about Echo it would have had a better chance along with me having one of those Nielsen boxes since it will suck to see this show come to an end way too soon. I bet we'll never find out what the deal is with Victor. He was a solider and that was about it. And hello to the creepy when Alpha downloaded Paul into his brain which means Echo didn't kill him when she had the chance. And Paul's brain dead which isn't very good because I did appreciate him being shirtless.
