I w...I commend you for such a positive perspective. I was so disappointed when I read that the low carb diet was an "Atkins-like" plan, and that participants were encouraged to eat vegetarian sources of protein and fat. Those options, coupled with the 120 grams of carbs, makes me wonder how it differed so much with the Mediterranean plan. Imagine if they'd actually tested a real Atkins plan (with much more variation than Dr. Ornish's classification of eggs, bacon, and brie)!
