I'm from Argentina, Buenos Aires, South America and Compaq/HP told me that they won't repair my notebook because they don't have spare parts (or maybe don't want). My problem is that after a couple of minutes that the notebook is powered on, it starts changing colors in different ways in differents parts of the display. I've connected the video output to an external monitor and the problem continues, so I think it could be an internal cable. I'd appreciate very much if you can let me know from your experience which could be the problem and what spare part is needed, then I'll try to find the spare somewhere.
