Fall Soccer 2009

Cole has been playing fall soccer. He is loving it . Cole has become quite the soccer player, he has scored every game and one of his latest games he scored 9 goals. We are so proud of him. It is so much fun watching him play. His season will be over after next weekend and we have signed him up to play indoor.

Mya turned "2" on August 30th but we had a couple parties. This was the first one we had a party with her friends it was "Tinker Bell" Themed, Mya picked out her own cake!!

Cole's first day of school was a half day, and since I had the day off,
I wanted to take the kids to do something special.
I took the kids to the Butterfly House for the afternoon.
It was nice to spend time just me and my kids.

Cole started Kindergarten this year. I took the day off so I could take him his first day. He is such a well adjusted little boy. Cole was excited about school he went right in to his new class gave me a hug and said see you in a little while. I did not cry when I left because I knew he was happy to be there.

The day after the Chicken Fry the Denison's invited us to the river with them.
It was great to spend the afternoon relaxing.
It was a great time can't wait till next summer to hopefully do it again.
Thanks again Denison's for taking us a long.

Huster Family Chicken Fry

In August Grandma Huster had her annual Chicken Fry. There was lot's of fried chicken, salads and of course homemade ice cream. Uncle Les gave tractor rides and there was even a pinata. Everyone had a lot of fun. This year for old time sakes, us cousins decided to play a game of Flag War/capture the flag. We used to play when we were younger. We played In-law vs Out laws. The In-laws won of course since the Out-laws quit : ) We had a lot of fun running back and forth between Grandmas house and my mom's it was like the old days. We all might have been a little sore the next day but there were no major injuries to report. Can't wait till next year maybe there will be a rematch.

We had to say good bye to a good friend in early August. Monty got really sick with Kidney failure and we had to have him put to sleep. He is deeply missed, but no longer suffering.

Baseball Game - Scott's 30th

Well my brother Scott is "30"!!! His wonderful wife surprised him with a family day at the Cardinal Game The Sunday after vacation. We all met Scott & Kathy at the game and then went

Vacation Cont. The Treasure Hunt 2009

Vacation just would not have been the sam e this year if we did not have our second annual Treasure Hunt. The pirates just did not learn last year that their treasure was not going to be safe buried at Mallard Point Resort... especially with Pirates, Cole, Mya, and this year Luke and Ben. This year the pirates buried 4 treasure chests that was perfect each Pirate had their very own treasure. Wonder if the pirates are already thinking of a new place to hide their treasure. Vacation Lake of the Ozarks 2009

Here it is October and I am just now posting about our July vacation... I took tons of pictures so this post might be several long.

Vacation was great this year. It was Luke and Ben's first vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks with us. We hung out enjoyed each others company. There was a little swimming but the weather was not typical July so the water was a little cold. We spent some time in the hot tub, shopping, and the guys fished. We Already looking forward to next year. Hopefully Stacy, Mark, Sam and Sophia will be able to make it.

Third of July 2009

The third of July we went to the St. Louis River Front to watch fierworks and the Counting Crows concert. It was Cole's first time to the St. Louis River Front. Scott, Kathy, Jeff & sally were able to come with us. It was a little cloudy and it sprinkled but we were able to make it through. Cole enjoyed the fireworks.

Cardinal Baseball Game

Cole got to go to the baseball game this summer thanks to some great tickets from my cousin Tom. Matt, Cole , Julie & Myself went to the game. Of course is was one of the hottest days in June we still had a great time.

Scott & Kathy and the kids came home in early June for Dan & Erin's Graduation party. The Friday before they hung out with us we had BBQ and the kids went swimming. We also celebrated Cole's Birthday with cupcakes.
