recoreded the measurements for later use. it was cold outside and a small amout of moisture began to fall as we concluded the survey....now I am going to eat lunch and then go to work. tomorow i am attending some training for work in downtown dallas. i am also starting to come to the conclusion typing in small letters all the time is not as great an idea as i first thought.</div><div href="http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&amp;id=2704278">autocad</a>. it is a program that is used extensively in architecture and engineering. we plotted house plans and other general drawings to gain some knowledge of basic autocad usage and technical drawing.<br /></div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /></div><div align="justify">the second class was an introduction to a program called <a href="http://www.solidworks.com/">solidworks</a>. it is used for technical drawing as well. we drew mostly small mechanical parts. solidworks was probably the easier of the two.<br /></div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify">this semester I am enrolled in topological drafting. it is concerned with plotting buildings and other structures from notes and measurements taken by surveyors. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /></div><div align="justify">the second class I am enrolled in is called strength of materials. it is concerned with measuring and calculating stress and failure of materials like steel, aluminum and brass. before stressing the specimens measurements are taken. then we use large machines that pull, smash and twist the materials. afterward, measurements are taken again for comparison and analysis.</div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /></div><div align="justify">i have taken many classes and the technical drawing curriculum has been my favorite by far. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br
