GUILTY

Former police officer Terry Wilson pleaded guilty to inappropriately touching a girl at the high school where he worked. I wrote about this case on September 1, and September 15. As part of his plea agreement, he promises to never work as a police officer again. Unfortunately, the charge to which he pleaded guilty is only a misdemeanor, so he will still be able to carry a firearm. Read the Tacoma News Tribune article here:

How many times have you heard that sentence? Unfortunately, there are too many LEOs that dishonor their oaths and disgrace their profession. For example:

Finnigan and 19 other officers from the unit surged into Caballos and searched patrons without cause, said the suit by bar owner Barbara Heidegger. Finnigan allegedly turned off a security monitor and said they were seeking drugs and guns. Officers allegedly took patrons' cash. They arrested Gregorio Martinez, but prosecutors dropped a drug charge against him when they saw security videotapes that proved the arrest report was falsified, the lawsuit said.

Chicago did away with their entire Special Operations Section on Tuesday. The problems within the Chicago Police Department are well known, and they may never be solved.

A Right Unexercised Is A Right Lost

I belong to a forum called Open Carry Dot Org or OCDO . The purpose of this forum is to relate experiences, both positive and negative, regarding the legal open carry of firearms.

Whether you agree with the concept of open carry or not, I know you will agree the we are all "endowed by their [our] Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Additionally, you will agree that the Bill of Rights is supposed to guarantee our rights and limit the power of government from infringing upon those rights.

When I and other law abiding citizens open carry our firearms, we do so for many reasons. Protecting our God given right to life is one reason, and exercising our First Amendment right to freedom of expression, and our Second Amendment right to bear arms are two more.

So, when an agent of the government stops and searches us for no reason other than seeing us exercising our rights, they violate our Forth Amendment right to be secure in our persons and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures. If they order us to cover our firearm, they are violating our First Amendment rights, and if they disarm us, they violate our Second Amendment right and inhibit our ability to protect our God given right to life.

One of the OCDO forum members related that yesterday afternoon he was sitting in a city park reading a book and eating cookies, when he was stopped, disarmed and lectured by Olympia, Washington police.

We have allowed government to become so intrusive in our lives that we can no longer exercise our rights without expecting to be accosted by government authorities.

L.A. County calling for lights-out hour - Los Angeles Times

Following San Francisco's lead, Los Angeles County and city officials are urging people, businesses and government to switch off nonessential lights for one hour next month to save energy.Led by Supervisor Yvonne B. Burke and City Councilwoman Wendy Greuel, the proposed effort asks Angelenos to simultaneously go dark between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, as San Franciscans do the same. Local officials are expected to vote on the plan next week.

"It's a great opportunity to conserve," Burke said, "a great [symbol] of people coming together."

"I think it will have a big visual impact," Katona said

URGENT! Disarmament Bill Being Rammed Through Senate

You'd think that when rabid, anti-gun legislators like Sen. Charles
Schumer and Rep. Carolyn McCarthy join together to pass anti-gun
legislation, it would raise a few red flags.

But these two New York Democrats are currently planning to roll over
gun owners with H.R. 2640 -- legislation which would bar you from
owning guns if:

* You are a battle-scarred veteran suffering from Post Traumatic
Stress Disorder; or

* As a kid, you were diagnosed with ADHD.

Not to mention the fact that your ailing grandfather could have his
entire gun collection seized, based only on a diagnosis of
Alzheimer's (and there goes the family inheritance).

Gun owners have been desperately fighting this bill for several
months. You will remember that it passed in the House with an
unrecorded voice vote in June and was later passed out of the Senate
Judiciary Committee -- also without a recorded vote.

Sen. Schumer is pushing hard to pass this legislation -- dubbed the
Veterans Disarmament Act -- so he is circulating an
"agreement" which
would waive the Senate rules in order to bring up and pass the bill.

This agreement could come about in the next few hours or the next
couple of days!

This agreement is extremely diabolical, as it would eliminate the
ability of pro-gun senators to offer amendments which would clean up
the legislation... and would grease the skids for immediate passage!

But there is good news: In order for Schumer's "agreement" to
prevail, he must get "unanimous consent." This means that just ONE
single senator can block it.

ACTION: Please contact your two U.S. Senators RIGHT AWAY and urge
them to OBJECT to Senator Chuck Schumer's "unanimous consent
agreement" to steamroll H.R. 2640, the McCarthy anti-gun bill.

Second Amendment Ribbons

You've all seen magnetic ribbons on cars and trucks supporting many varied causes. Several days ago, I found someone on the Internet who is selling ribbons to support the Second Amendment and the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (RKBA). I ordered one, and I am very pleased with the design and the quality. I applied it to my truck before I left the Post Office parking lot. If you want to exercise your First Amendment right of free speech to bring awareness to your Second Amendment RKBA, this is a great way to do it. I'm not making a dime from this, but I do encourage you to display one of these ribbons. • Wilson, 48, touched or rubbed the student’s legs on five occasions in his office, saying they were “smooth” or “nice.”

• Wilson told the girl he dreamed about having sex with her in his office.

• Wilson sat next to the girl at a dinner at the high school June 1, touched her calf and commented on how smooth her legs were.

After the dinner, Wilson asked the girl to go with him to his office to get something. In his office, he touched her right breast, court documents state.

High School Bans American Flag

On the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, students at one high school were not allowed to wear clothes with an American Flag.

The superintendent of schools in Sampson County calls the situation unfortunate, but says educators didn’t want to be forced to pick and choose which flags should be permissible.

That's easy: The Flag of The United States of America is permissible. No others are permited. What's so hard about that?!

Officer accused of misconduct with student

One of Washington State's finest! This mutant, officer Terry Wilson, 48, was working as a "school resource officer" at Federal Way High School when he allegedly groped a seventeen year-old female student and made sexual comments to her.

Two gross misdemeanor charges against officer Wilson were filed on Friday in Federal Way Municipal Court. They are fourth-degree assault and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. Each crime carries a maximum penalty of up to a year in jail and a $5,000 fine.

This is who we have protecting our kids at school. I'm glad that mine are long graduated. Now, I have to start worrying about the safety of my grandchildren. But, I didn't think I would have to worry about them being assaulted by those who are supposed to be protecting them. I'll follow the court case and publish the outcome.

New airport agents check for danger in fliers' facial expressions

Better watch out how your facial expressions appear to others next time you go to the airport. You know, those little "micro-expressions" lasting no more than a fraction of a second. If you show anger (flight delays?) or disgust (at the lack of service from airline personnel?), you could be in for a round of serious questioning from the gestapo, I mean law enforcement officials.

Specially trained security personnel are watching body language and facial cues of passengers for signs of bad intentions. The watcher could be the attendant who hands you the tray for your laptop or the one standing behind the ticket-checker. Or the one next to the curbside baggage attendant.

They're called Behavior Detection Officers.

Next, you'll have to be wary every time you talk to one of your neighbors. I'm sure that some people in the government would love to put a "Behavior Detection Officer" on every block in the U.S.. Everyone must exhibit the some behavior and facial expressions, let alone heart rate, respiration's, body temperature. Think I'm exaggerating? Read the article:

The Second Amendment is as necessary today as it was when it was written by our Founding Fathers over two hundred years ago. It has been recognized as such by presidents, patriots, and statesmen throughout our nation's history.

By calling attention to a well-regulated militia for the security of the Nation, and the right of each citizen to keep and bear arms, our Founding Fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy. Although it is extremely unlikely that the fears of governmental tyranny, which gave rise to the second amendment, will ever be a major danger to our Nation, the amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic military-civilian relationships, in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of the country.
