Featured in the Employment News section of the November 12, 2009 edition of the St. Louis American weekly newspaper she discusses the excitment of her newsest achievement: The YWCA of St. Louis Leader of Distinction Award. Join the Missouri History Museum for a discussion of how black activism has been historically treated by the authorities. Watch selections from the acclaimed documentary Eyes on the Prize II: A Nation of Law? (1968-1971), followed by a panel discussion with Civil Rights activist Percy Green; newspaper columnist and community organizer Jamala Rogers; and Norman Seay, Civil Rights activist and founding member of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) in St. Louis.
