Please pray for Grandpaw Ron's grandchildren Cole and his sister Taylor.

Cole had surgery today. He is 12-year-old.

Taylor is 8-year-old. She has leukemia.

Oh Lord! Both Cole and Taylor belong to You. Please heal them completely and speedily. Please strengthen and comfort them. Please be with them and their parents. May You guide the doctors and medical staff as they attend to Cole and Taylor. Oh Lord! Thank you so much for Your mercy, grace and love upon this very special family. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

2 most beloved friends shared 2 very lovely pictures with me over the weekend.

Merle has a very cheerful sunflower on her blog. I commented that I like it very much. She's so nice as to share it with me. The sunflower is very joyful, isn't it? Isn't Merle a very loving lady? My child addresses her as Grandmother Merle in our conversations.

Then Corry sent a very unique tulip picture to me. It was totally unexpected. I was just saying that our desktop is a plain blue background. She remembers my favourite flower. I mentioned about it many months ago. Isn't Corry a very fantastic lady? My child addresses her as Auntie Corry. I call her Lieve Zus.

Encouraging Update on Dad

my Dad was discharged from hospital two days ago
his recovery is a bit slower than expected
he can't walk on his own yet
his appetite is good
he can sleep

Third Update on Dad

Op was successful =DDD
Hallelujah!!!

It was postponed to 4.30pm due to shortage of beds in the ICU ward.
Op ended at about 7pm.

My Dad's heart and lungs were fine during the op.
His first words after the op were "When can I walk again?" =)
He missed his twice daily tea outing with his buddies.

Our Lord is very good all the time.

my Dad's bloated stomach is gone
his lungs are clearer
he doesn't need oxygen supply all the time
he is in the normal ward now
his hip replacement operation is postponed
til his physical conditions are better

A Nasty Fall

my Dad fell down on Father's Day
his left hip bone is broken
it leads to heart failure, lungs infection and bloated stomach
he has been warded in the icu since Sunday
the doctors are trying to optimise his condition
before carrying out an operation to replace his hip
it's a very high risk operation
tentatively scheduled for next Monday

my Dad (80 year old) is not a believer yet
but he believes that Jesus had healed him
of a bedridden stroke and heart attack 3 1/2 years ago

everything is in God's hands...

it was around 33C in the afternoons
my child had to go for a sandcastle building on the beach yesterday
she complained endlessly about the weather
the moment when she left home for the event
the scorching sun went behind the clouds
the breeze blew calmly for the rest of the day

The international limelight focused on Sufiah Yusof aka Shilpa Lee brought her into the attention of Malaysia. Malaysia’s newspaper, Bernama, reported on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 that the Malaysian government and Malaysian Missionary Foundation wish to contact Ms Yusof or meet her to help her.

Zahid Hamidi, the minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, said that they are interested to assist Ms Yusof to return to the right path through the “Save Sufiah Program.”

This is great news.
It implies she will not be prosecuted for anything.

for the past 2 weeks
i had been rather busy
only the very basic housework was done
answered text messages to the point
blog visiting to a minimum
hardly read the newspapers
breezed in and out for grocery shopping
woke up earlier
slept later
what was i busy with?

Easter eggs hunting on Facebook
HaHa!

the season had just ended yesterday
whenever i was free
i was in front of the com
hunting for the very beautiful Easter eggs
there were ten different normal designs
and five secret designs
with the required combination
we could exchange for limited edition
cute mega mini bunnies and bountiful baskets
it was very fun but very time-consuming
it's over finally...
