I was so excited to watch the trailer of this film. I rushed to the TV to watch the promo of this film. And it sure didn't disappoint me! It was brilliant. Breath taking!! Its surely gonna be one of the best movies that Indian Cinema has given to its viewers.

Most of you, like me, would be waiting for the audio launch of this future blockbuster! Here's good news for you all. Dasavatharam audio launch is scheduled for tomorrow, 25.4.08 in Nehru stadium. Most of the big shots inIndian Cinema will be present tomorrow. Amitabh Bachchan, Mammootty, Rama Narayanan, Hemamalini, Asin, Mallika Sherawat and Himesh Reshmaiyya would be taking part in it. The most important guest for tomorrow is Jackie Chan!!! I am eagerly waiting to listen to the songs of Dasavatharam.

I have noticed that Americans had spread he idea of having signs everywhere. This is typical for any type of institution. They like to put signs next to their entrance, in order to let the people know about their place of location. In Moldova this is not popular, probably because the tradition is different.
The same thing is about american people. They like to have signs on their yards. Whether they sell the house or anything else, or just making an advertisement. This can be a yard sign, or a political opinion sign. Can you see the difference between the elections in United States and in Moldova. In United States they have a lot of signs during elections, with different colors. people accept caring a special sign with them during the whole election process.
I guess people in Moldova don't have such a habbit of expressing their thoughts by such signs, like yard signs, elections signs, political signs
But maybe that could be a good idea when you have to promote something, some idea. And i wonder why the political deputies don't use this good way of promoting their campaigns, because that is a good way of attracting the people.

This is a movie that i saw only yesterday.To be honest,i was quite apprehensive about going for this film.Nevertheless since we friends could not get the tickets for any other movie we went for this one.I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this film.The tag line of this movie is 'Their world is closer to you than you think'.This itself gives an insight into what is going to follow.The movie is about a book that has some of the deep dark secrets of the other world filled with goblins and other creatures.These are the findings of Mr.Spiderwick who asks his gobblin friend to safe guard the book.Years later great grand nephews of Mr.Spiderwick move into the deserted house and their encounter with the vile members of the other world and how they destroy them and save the world forms the rest of the story.This movie falls a little short of the entertainment given by other fantasy films like phoenix,Harry Potter and all...Although it is the Best movie that one can watch with family in the recent times! Please watch this movie if you are a freak for fiction!

I loved school…enjoyed every day of it…so I was pretty surprised I dint feel sad for leaving it. Maybe the fact remained that I will never miss my frnds cos they wer all in colleges in and round the city...and my school…well wer can it run off…!! as always in sweet, ever hot Chennai. But as days passed, as yrs in coll went by I started seeing the difference…the difference in the ppl around me, the difference in my environment, how everything was so very not school-like…and I knew…I missed school…terribly..!! In school we grow up together, learn the same lessons, the same morals and end up with the same lifestyle. As some love to use the phrase “we have the same wavelength, frequency…whatever !!”. There were times wen I’ve so badly longed to get back to 12^th…to those tree shades, the silence of the chapel, the vast sports field, the claustrophobic auditorium, the airy classrooms and most importantly to those caring teachers and ever ready to help classmates. They’re still there as I thot…but it wont be the same. We never understand the value of certain moments until we lose them. And now wen I think of it…the laughs we’ve had, the tears we shared, the times we’ve fought, pulling each others legs, hands, hairs…standing in the assembly, holding the mike, playing with the school bell, the ‘jungle gym’ games…there are some things you can find only in school…some things you can only enjoy there. And I no I’m gonna miss it all. I never had tears wen I left school…but thinking abt each moment I had there does make me feel. No matter how much I deny it…life will never be the same with school left behind.

I knew that IPL was gonna be exciting. But i swear i didn't imagine it to be soooo exciting. It was thrilling to watch the sixes and fours in these two matches. The inaugural function was very well organized. McCullum was truly a hero in yesterday's match! He was so aggressive in his shots and it was a feast to watch the Knight Riders start off so well. (I want them to win the IPL!!!) And in today's match.. the Chennai Super Kings have rocked in spite of the strong bowling team in Kings XI Punjab!!

My uncle Raj has just built his first house by this month. His house is still brand new , and still need more things to decorate his house. Yesterday a few of my college friends and I went for the loooong awaited outing.We had planned this during our semesters! The plan was basically to spend One FUll day with friends friends and only friends.So early in the morning v all went for a walk.Had breakfast @a local hotel,and @12 we decided to go for a movie.We went to satyam cinemas and found out that the movie 'The spiderwick chronicles' had tickets.We wanted to go for a movie,so did not bother which movie it was.We bought them,thinking its going to be another sober movie.But it actually turned out to be a FULL-time entertainer.After that we moved on to citi centre,the favourite hang out for college students in chennai...we fed ourselves in the massive food court there..hehe..@about 4 'o' clock we decided to go to the beach...Marina is just a stone's throw away from citi centre.We went to the waters there....came out after 1 and a half hours FULLY DRENCHED...we did some of the craziest things done by mostly kids...lol..like kite flying,horse riding,eating ice creams by dropping them on each other etc. .It was almost 8 in the night...we went to Ratna Cafe in Triplicane and had yummy dosa sambhars, kumbakonam degree kaapi and all..we reached home by 9 30...took bath under the shower and retired to bed!! was a fun-filled day unforgettable by any definition!

Heroism

I want to share a story of heroism with all of you. My friend's grand father was an experienced pilot of Air India International Corporation. He lost his life on April 11th 1955 when he was piloting a special chartered flight which had big shots from China who were to participate in the Afro Asian conference. Soon after the flight took off, an explosion took place in the star board wheel-well. An intense fire developed and the whole flight and the cockpit was filled with smoke. Without hesitation or fear, this brave pilot decided to ditch his plane. He carried out all precautionary measures and this eliminated panic and confusion. He made a quick and accurate decision to ditch the plane in the sea. It was this brave decision which resulted in self sacrifice of the Captain but saved three lives by enabling the survivors to reach the shore. I know there are lot more people like him. But since he is my friend's grand father, this story is close to my heart.

Capt. Raghavan was awarded the prestigious Ashoka Chakra, the highest civilian gallantry award of India. He was the first civilian recipient of this gallantry award. Salutations to him :-)

My birthday!!!

My birthday was truly the best day of my life! I realized that i have the greatest of friends and 'm truly very very lucky to have them all :-) I cut a birthday cake twice!! Once in my school friend's house and another in my house!! My friends gave me a surprise party with a balloon cake!! I can never forget the way it blasted and splashed the cream all over my room!! Amazing fun!! At the end of the day, i felt really bad that all of them will be leaving me. Each one has a different dream and different plan. This is probably the last birthday celebration with all of them. 'm surely gonna miss them all in my life after we part!Love you guys :-)
