Tonya made this very cool baby quilt as a gift for little Zoe. My piggies made the cut and I'm so excited to see them being used this way. I've always wanted to try to make a quilt. I have been totally swamped and stuck in my cubicle (you know, the day job that pays the bills). I've been grumpy and grumbly and noticing how sucky life can be when that is all I have time for. we spent the weekend up north, most of the time in our swamp cutting up downed trees to keep us in fire wood through the winter. it's creepy cool, always dark and mysterious, even on the sunniest of days. you can almost image mythical creatures emerging from the fallen cedar trees or retreating into the murky mud puddles. there's magic in our swamp, i know it!
