and my Great Uncle Fred who died in the First World war in France - he was shot by a sniper almost near the end of it and was not only a handsome and well educated man but he was engaged to a wealthy heiress and a wonder full life awaited him

Remembrance Sunday is not for British it is for all countries to remember their lost friends and family who still fight today and sadly give their lives

Inspiration for the Poem

On 2 May, 1915, in the second week of fighting during the Second Battle of Ypres Lieutenant Alexis Helmer was killed by a German artillery shell. He was a friend of the Canadian military doctor Major John McCrae. It is believed that John began the draft for his famous poem 'In Flanders Fields' that evening.

An oldie but a goody this has been around for a while now but worthy of a fresh new mention

Almost everyone who tries this loves it as it has silent fly mode flymode with wind or motorised

all with simple taps on the arrows and page up page down - a quick read of the instructions and you are away

the silent mode - just tap the back key in flight so the engine turns off and you can freeze it there then simply just use the left and right arrows to toggle sterr like the real thing very therapeutic

If you have a channel as part of your course between two island scatter about 10 weeds in it they will move and drift about but as you approach needs particular skill to avoid - great challenge

Rez you rsix 1.4 sit on it right click it rename it to the collision buoy - get a friend to do the same - then chase after them taking in turns as you board is no effectively a collision buoy if you touch their board you will both go over NB only rename the root (yellow) as the board must remain called 'board' - when you next rez it will rename itself back to RSiX

Its been well tested and has some nice extras in the last 24 hrs have added floating weed that can tip up your board - this weed moves if hit so who knows where it will be? It has a 1hr 15 mins die time out on it for people who use other peoples sims to race so as not to leave littler and grief other sailing vessels most races only last an hour and this just gives an rd 15 mins to add some hazards for fun should they want to.

Also added additional animation stage to rig jumping rather than jumping through the sail you now go around the front of the board as yu would in reality - nice touch that

BRAND NEW apart from sails almost everything has changed

key new features include
* Completely reprimed board boom, fin, centerboard (now fully working),
mast track textured sculpt in white on deck allows you to tint board in your edit menu without losing your logo
* New sound effects
* New Multi Sprays not a single spray triggered by rate these are independent multiple sprays - see the video for more
* New catapult (capsize) option controlled by objects included - only triggered by the objects to allow you a 'normal' board if you want one the rest of the time
* Wind lock - once wind is set it stays till you stand again
* Wind direction hud - although this is still managed from the text hud on the back of the board knowing where the wind is coming from was clear lacking - the wind vane is still there for those who prefer it vane on vane off command
* New animations - Further outboard and better more natural position for male and female avatars
* True wind and appwind
* New extra escape feature - no more being trapped in the boom - click escape on the controls hud once when you stand and the board turns phantom for 30 seconds then resets

ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THE REAL THING SEE THE COMPARISON
THE old board (1,3) is the one the left and the new one is on the right and the real actual Olympic RS:X board is in the middle you can see how good the new board is now ;)))P

Collision Objects provided but you can rename any prim you own to same same as the bouys name to have the board react with your own prims - rocks boats anything you like - if your board hiits them then you go over ;)P

this will be a little more technical so all 1.4 boards will be supllied with a 1.3 too

Basically it has the following (so far)

True Wind App Wind = visual wind hud as well as the usual graphic hud to set your sail COE (center of effort - or sheet)

All new sculpted parts see photos below
All new sprays different style sprays triggered the faster you go

Well i spent the day making this Period Mitchel Movie Camera click the crank to turn the shutter sound and spinning handle on and off

I spent the rest of the day making this outfit - its based on a 1920 Regatta Outfit and has - yes - flat shoes - think about it - makes sense ;)P they had common sense back then too. The sailor suit style is a classic of course ;)P and i just added the cigarette holder for a bit of 'glamour' white knee-high stockings finish the look

and ideal for the whole J-Class thing ;)))

I am studying music production atm i have a lot of toys from piano, talkboxes, synths, mixers usb soundcards and endles VSTis

I adore sound effects and have acquired another huge library and will in due course begin to create 'sound scapes' i will also do custom sounds if anyone is interested they will be all multi channel and engineered as unique audio concepts

i was recently talking to a pal SLCG's Uri Jeffersen and explained i was learning to use some new Choirs software its quite complicated to use but you can basically have the choir sing what you like - so for fun i have had them sing Uri Jeffersen and the results are outstanding considering its for a laugh on this occasion - step out of the way Pope here come Lord Uri you can listen to it here - i have all levels of choir from soprano to Tenor and every imaginable harmony its going to take time to learn this well but the outlook looks good

Please note that i have heavily harmonised the audio to sound nice you can hear the 'Uri Jeffar-sen' about 2/3rds the way thru i can hear it ok but you may not be able to ;)P Like i said its a bit of fun and shows the potential of course i will do more of these with av names in for fun that are much clearer

Being able to create my own musical compositions is important especially in some videoas as there are copyright issues and costs if something is deemed 'commercial' in anyway and making your own music of course gets around this/that
