They are going to have an opportunity to make some great deals, and the risk-adjusted returns at this point in the real estate cycle are going to be pretty darn good.”

Source: Fortune, Michael V. Historically low interest rates, an $8,000 tax credit, the decline in the overall median price from a year ago. They will soon be replaced by another type of tree, but a few of them will be saved and moved to a new location near the front of the building.

In its native habitat, screw pine, with its many aerial prop roots, is sometimes used for erosion control and to bind sand dunes. The long strap shaped leaves of screw pine are, to this day, used to make mats, baskets and thatched roofs. The fruits are edible. The male plants produce fragrant colorful flowers in long spikes. The females produce weird looking pendulous fruits that resemble orange pineapples or oversized pine cones.

Smaller versions make great container plants.

AndersonGriffin
Search Beachfront Condos

AndersonGriffinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08637296346789781243noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1127826129090104358.post-49284089438352410972008-10-08T14:49:00.008-04:002008-11-05T15:41:51.502-05:00Beach View from the new Moraya Bay Beach Tower

It doesn't get any better than this in Florida....picturesque white sand, turquoise waters, and tranquil spaces! In the spirit of the day, we did a little checking about the history of Independence Day.
- The original resolution to cut the apron strings from Mother Britain was introduced to the Continental Congress on June 17, 1776.
- Then Thomas Jefferson and a willing committee put their heads together to polish up a formal writing for the grand announcement.
- The actual resolution was approved on July 2 but the Declaration of Independence (a separate document) was adopted on July 4, 1776.
- It took days, weeks, and in one case, years before all the signatures on the Declaration were in place. Thomas McKean didn't get his signature on the page until 1781!
- Exactly one year after the Declaration was approved, Philadelphia held a huge birthday party for the infant republic. But the first official (by legislative act) celebration was held in 1781 in Massachusetts.

Eat, drink, and be merry! Independence is worth celebrating!

AndersonGriffinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08637296346789781243noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1127826129090104358.post-18780450924956783722008-05-29T10:33:00.000-04:002008-05-29T10:35:29.278-04:00Bonefish Grill Opened in Naples Bay ResortBonefish Grill has opened in the Naples Bay Resort, 1500 Fifth Ave. S.

The St. Petersburg-based restaurant, which specializes in market-fresh fish grilled over an oak-burning grill, will open every day at 4 p.m. It is open until 10:30 Monday through Thursday, 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 p.m. Sunday. "We do have an incredibly deep arts community, 76 galleries and 500 resident artist and musicians," she said. Anyone who looks at the council's monthly calendar, (online at www.collierarts.com) will get an idea of just how much happens daily in the arts here. Hamilton added: "It's phenomenal, the stuff going on."That rich array is what caused independent theatre founder and director Donato Colucci to put down roots three months ago to grow a classics-oriented theater company here. Colucci said he hadn't heard of Naples as an arts desitnation but " as a vacation and snowbird place." At least that was his impression before he came down to visit his son last year."As soon as I got here, I opened up the paper and saw all these festivals going on. And I said, "what's going on here?" he recalled. As Colucci says he decided: "This is really a good place for the arts."

Naples Daily News, April 2008
Link: www.collierarts.com

AndersonGriffinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08637296346789781243noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1127826129090104358.post-64239680492398195392008-04-03T14:04:00.001-04:002008-04-03T14:04:28.475-04:00About Moraya BayFive high-rise buildings just one mile north of The Dunes. 18-hole golf course and luxurious clubhouse.

Located near this luxury development is the Ritz Carlton of Naples, La Playa Beach Resort and the Turtle Club.

Amerivest Realtyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07022501598561402035jballarino@amerivestrealty.com0
