With due respect, the norm in US campaigns during concession speeches is for the loser's supporters to boo loudly. So, the person you quoted sounds pretty ill-informed.

Further, as US campaigns go, McCain's was pretty civil. You might look at some of what has occurred in other US campaigns. It makes this one look like a unity party.

You anti-chomsky poster. I too am happy about the Obama victory. While McCain was, by all accounts, an honorable man of both good character and judgment - as most recently attested to by his unusually gracious concession speech -, Obama is the better choice for the US.

By the way, according to CNN, to those who voted based on race, Obama won rather big time.
