Buahaha - this is precisely the experience I had with Mediacom in IL, well all except the fact that I didn't have my wife in tow, because well...... frankly I am the wife LOL! However I got the worst damned run around from them and finally gave up and ordered Direc TV. It sucked, but not nearly as bad as Mediacom LOL! Tell Dawn I miss her...my Caramel Machiatto just isn't as great without her next to me on the couch....

Dude i use to have Comcast and i adored it. i paid like $42 for a 6.5mb line and never had problems. they even gave us the self install kit so we did everything ourselves without issues.

i now have time warner road runner which is the gayest thing ive ever encountered. first off i pay $55 for a 4.2 line, their offices suck, and 5 days after getting the install, they cancelled the service because i hadnt paid for that month.... so aparently im suppose to pay in advance for my months which isnt stated in the contract nor anywhere else and after arguing with them they finally let up. so yeah its not just i

This is why i have only comcast basic service and i use verizon for dsl and phone. I won't use comcast for anything else.
