Got picked this up last week. It is a wreck and I had to travel a long ways to get it, but it has a lot of good parts on it. Listed it on Craigslist tonight under 1972 Dodge Challenger. Trying to sell it whole but will probably end up parting it out. It is a bad sign when the bump stop for the rear end is going through the frame rail.

This is the latest cop car I brought home. It is a 1977 Dodge Royal Monaco with a 440 HP engine. It is of course a real police package car that served with the Pierce County Sheriff's Office. Been pretty busy the last couple of weeks and got a couple of cool cars. Had a friend tell me about these two and he very generiously let me have a crack at them. One is a 1969 Plymouth Valiant 100 two door post and is a total strippy. Only options it has are a remote mirror, AM Radio, and 3 speed wipers. It is blue and a leaning tower of power for motivation. Had a friend who just wanted to get rid of this 1962 Imperial Crown and of course I took it. Once it got here I am not sure why I did. For a while we have been selling heater hose nipples for Big Block Mopars. These are the pieces that go into your water pump housing that connect your heater hoses to it and send coolant to your heater box. Went to a special event on Wednesday the 30th last week. It was an event at the Skagit Speedway put on by the Kasey Kahne Foundation. The event featured a Sprint Car Race with Kahne and fellow Nascar driver Tony Stewart in the race. They sold 8,000 tickets for the event and sold it out. It was a very fun event to go to, it is not everyday you see current Nascar drivers on a track such as

Last Sunday I went to the Tacoma Sunbust show and swap meeted. You could not ask for a better day, it was 80 degrees without a cloud in the sky. Car count was awesome, somewhere around 300 cars, but the swap meet was a bit of a disappointment. Seemed smaller than last year and nobody was buying. The main reason I went to the LeMay show was for the auction. They had mostly earlier stuff this year, like 30's and 40's, but they had a few diamonds in the rough. Finally sold my Mazda truck today, guess Craigslist does work, you just have to sift through all the flakes. Got a little less than what I wanted for it, but got such a good deal on my new Dodge I guess I can't complain.
