Man am I behind this holiday season. I haven't sent cards-only received 6 or so so that's not too bad. I have no wreath on the door, no tree, not one hint of Christmas can be seen in my home. I hate that. I was more enthused back in mid November than I am now. So many partners at work taking vacations that the single guy gets to work his ass off during the month of December. I want to go on a ski trip or to Banff Springs? or where ever people go during December. Gosh I feel better after unloading on you.

Brazos Bend State Park

Before the cold front and snow on Friday my father and I drove out to Brazos Bend State Park on Thursday. It is less than twenty miles from me yet I had never been. I have considered taking my bike and dogs many times but never have. After seeing all the signs that say pets must remain on leash I thought bummer and was glad that I had never made the trip. Then I saw all the "Beware of Alligators" signs and thought differently. I was surprised to see so many campers set up and many decorated for the holidays so I assume it is home for some for a while. That's a lifestyle I could not adapt to easily--living in a camper, to each his own. Overall it appeared to be a great place to hike and bike and even get some fishing in too.

I had the pleasure of witnessing my Sable giving my father's dog some serious tongue last night. On more than one occasion I have been awakened with Sable's tongue in my mouth. That's a sure fire way to get me to stop snoring. And that is why she doesn't sleep with me anymore. Although she is like a big ole bear keeping me warm at night. Woof!

But I digress, when I have had the pleasure to express myself orally I've been told I was a sloppy kisser. Oh and that I had a cow lick and not referring to my hairline either. I am deep throat.
