According to DAWN

Raising voice against the foreign-funded polio vaccination campaign of the government, a religious figure in Mam Dherai village of Swat has forbidden people to take any preventive measures against polio “as those killed during an outbreak are martyrs”.

Crux of the news:

“I must tell my brothers and sisters that finding a cure (vaccination) for an epidemic before its outbreak is not allowed in Shariah,” said Maulana Fazlullah during a Friday sermon in Mam Dherai village where he is building a madressah with monetary help from locals.

“According to Shariah, one should avoid going to the areas where an epidemic has broken out, but those who do go to such areas and get killed during an outbreak are martyrs,” he said.

You read the excerpts and could read the details in the given link. Now, I have two options, one to demonstrate ignorance and other to seek truth. If I go for first which is usually an easiest path to earn in the eyes of Western masters is to start offending Mullahs,Islam and prove myself a modern and progessive muslim and offend my people by considering them idiots who know nothing. Obviously I got a *solid* proof to offend Mullahs because they spread *terrorism* under the umbrella of Islam.

The other option is that I rather seek for sources which is mentioned in the orignal source that is Shariyah which is actually a set of Quran and Hadith Teachings. I remembered that I had something similar in hadith books, I made a search which hardly took 2 minutes and I found the actual content of Shariah. Read the hadiths below:

Narrated Saud:
The Prophet said, "If you hear of an outbreak of plague in a land, do not enter it; but if the plague breaks out in a place while you are in it, do not leave that place."
(Sahih Bukhari Hadeeth. Vol.7 Book:71. Medicine. No.624).

Now the concept of "martyrdom", yes there is one but about what? read below:

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "Five are regarded as martyrs: They are those who die because of plague, abdominal disease, drowning or a falling building etc., and the martyrs in Allah's Cause."
(Sahih Bukhari Hadeeth. Vol.4 Book:52. Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad). No.82.)

Now see how that bastard tried to offend Islam by misinterpretating the orignal content. Since most of us are jahil, ignorant and recall Islam at the time of disease, death and birth, we always get failed to find the truth therefore most of us would blindly believe in it. Acha the intresting thing is that those who curse such people are not different than those who favor them because at the end of the day both cabals are beliving in words of that man rather the orignal teachings. Now do you think that any member of such cabals deserve to blame oponent? Offcourse not because both people have ZERO knowledge about orignal teachings and they keep barking their crap to prove their point of view. The intresting fact is that I can't even give the excuse of illetracy or lack of education because usually people who curse Islamic celebrities belong to families who are supposed to highly educated, foreign qualified and fluently speak english. They also claim that they are muslims and those who believe in such crazy interpetition also claim that they are followers while in reality both are misguided cults and equally responsible to offend Islam. The mentioned news belongs to a village of SWAT called FIZA GHAT so we can assume that most of them wouldn't have any reliigous background, but what would you say about educated retards who also react similar to those genuine jahils? It sounds weird that even educated people sound same but since I have experienced myself so I can say with surity that educated people are more jahil than those genuine jahil. Atleast genuine jahil have excuse. Don't believe me, such gothru few thread of Adil's blog which is the easiest way to find Pakistani cum muslim cum liberals/secularists as this forum has become heaven on earth for them. Read here ,here and here ,these guys are pumped up to demonstrate extreemism and ignorance in the name of enlightment and moderation. One of them even compared the death of the lady with Sahaba. Later it was discovered that he's a qadyani who like other qadyanis has been busy to offend Islam by making retardish statmnets against Islamic ideology and related personalities.

How that village so called Islamic scholar is different than those seculars who moronically offend Islam by saying that Islam allows secularism[read rejection of religion] in Quran because Allah said "there is no compulsion of religion". I just laugh when I hear such theories. The verse which was sent against forced converstion is now used as the rule of secularism in Islam. Crap!

I don't know when will we getrid of bastards of both cabals because both have become pain in neck for the whole Ummah.

Look we don't need any external enemy when black sheeps reside among us. Why the heck do a hindu, jew, christian, atheist would waste his time to set war against Islam when they already have prepared lots of Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq for Islamic Ummah? No they don't have time. They are rather busy in R&D in the field of science and technology and busy in making policies against Muslims with the help of muslim rulers who are nothing but their slaves.

When we claim that we know Islam more than non-muslims then we actually demonstrate our own ignorance towars those non-muslims and about Islam. Clear your mind, jews and christians know about Islam more than us. They actually study Quran while we have taken Islam as granted as Islam is our Baap ki property[Family property]. They have spent centuries to find out the reasons behind the new religion[Islam] which was already told by their elders[Moses(AS) & Jesus(AS)] in Bible which they refused and missed the train. According to Bible,Moses already told about new religion Islam:

I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and (A)I will put My words in his mouth, and (B)he shall speak to them all that I command him.(Duet 18:15)

and then Jesus(AS) said:

"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Paraclete, that he may abide with you into the age (to come)." John 14:16

But since they were being like muslims of current world that is ignorant, they refused and got misguided but since they had fear of new religion they kept working on it and they found that the only way which can help them to scew muslims is to bring traitors up and use them to offend Islam and muslims and results is infront of you. Today Islam is offended more by muslims than non-Muslims. Non-muslims find out *target* among Muslim belief and then use such fragile muslim figures to destroy them. Today the whole West tremble due to fear when they hear about Madrassah or Madarassah student. Why? how such poor students who never spend luxurious life become so harmful for them? Well their pontiffs and Rabbis already told them that these madrassah people who never fear of death are our real enemy. People like you and me are nothing infront of them. We are actually like them, coward and have fear of death and will run away in case if our religion needs us. Allah challenged Children of Israel who took Paradise as granted

Say: "If the last Home, with God, be for you specially, and not for anyone else, then seek ye for death, if ye are sincere."(quran 2:94 )

Are we not like them? Don't we follow same path like those misguided Children of Israel? Offcourse we are this is why they are not afraid of us but they are afraid from those madrassah students who have love to fight for Allah and don't fear death. Shame on us that we curse others for our own ignorance.

Look Allah will not ask you what Mullah did. You can't fool Allah like you are used to fool other humans. Allah will just ask whether you followed Islam and what did you do to spread Islam because Dawah[tableegh] is mandatory for every Muslim. It's better that you remove confusion of others by learning truth or just shutup because at the end of the day,you will be the only person who would come out as an Idiot not only in the eyes of humans but in the eyes of Allah as well.

Update: One thing I forgot to add and someone could ask that why PLAGUE was given such importance? Well, I don't know the exact reason with reference but what I think in ancient era PLAGUE was incurable like AIDS today and since there was no facilities so people used to die helplessly. I got this impression from the following Hadith:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "There are angels guarding the entrances (or roads) of Medina, neither plague nor Ad-Dajjal will be able to enter it."

(Sahih Bukhari Hadeeth. Vol.3 Book:30. Virtues of Madinah. No.104.)

Since Islam the only religion in which a follower is rewarded every moment by Allah, the Prophet[saw] who love us so much that he would have asked Allah to do such helpless Muslims. Since Muhammad [saw] is the favorite Prophet and Islam is the favorite religion of Allah [read verse 5:3]. When you love someone then you do anything to keep your darling happy. When same Allah can give reward on giving smile to your parents and removing stones from the roads or path then how is it possible that same Allah leave us helpless in such painful situation. This is why Allah gave the status of Shaheed to those who suffer the disease so that they don't feel helpless or regret. Don’t ignore the human nature which demands care. Allah who is our creator sent glad tidings to those who suffer the pain of that horrible diseases but NOWHERE it was ordered that one can’t go for the option of CURE of disease including the PLAGUE or any other epidemic disease otherwise The Prophet [saw] would have never ordered for NOT entering in the danger zone. There is a famous incident which pertain to this plague issue and has been reported in Bukhari.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas:

'Umar bin Al-Khattab departed for Sham and when he reached Sargh, the commanders of the (Muslim) army, Abu 'Ubaida bin Al-Jarrah and his companions met him and told him that an epidemic had broken out in Sham. 'Umar said, "Call for me the early emigrants." So 'Umar called them, consulted them and informed them that an epidemic had broken out in Sham. Those people differed in

their opinions. Some of them said, "We have come out for a purpose and we do not think that it is proper to give it up," while others said (to 'Umar), "You have along with you. other people and the companions of Allah's Apostle so do not advise that we take them to this epidemic." 'Umar said to them, "Leave me now." Then he said, "Call the Ansar for me." I called them and he

consulted them and they followed the way of the emigrants and differed as they did. He then said to them, Leave me now," and added, "Call for me the old people of Quraish who emigrated in the year of the Conquest of Mecca." I called them and they gave a unanimous opinion saying, "We advise that you should return with the people and do not take them to that (place) of epidemic."

So 'Umar made an announcement, "I will ride back to Medina in the morning, so you should do the same." Abu 'Ubaida bin Al-Jarrah said (to 'Umar), "Are you running away from what Allah had ordained?" 'Umar said, "Would that someone else had said such a thing, O Abu 'Ubaida! Yes, we are running from what Allah had ordained to what Allah has ordained. Don't you agree that if you

had camels that went down a valley having two places, one green and the other dry, you would graze them on the green one only if Allah had ordained that, and you would graze them on the dry one only if Allah had ordained that?" At that time 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Auf, who had been absent because of some job, came and said, "I have some knowledge about this. I have heard Allah's

Apostle saying, 'If you hear about it (an outbreak of plague) in a land, do not go to it; but if plague breaks out in a country where you are staying, do not run away from it.' The reason I am asking this question that this was the last tour of Pakistan before World Cup which would be held in West Indies where wickets are entirely different than South African Wickets.

Pakistan had been performing very well in year 2005 and 2006 where they won series not in home grounds but abroad as well. This is the same Pakistani team who defeated against West Indies in West Indies. The same company defeated England in home ground and India in India. Do you find any common factor? If you ask me then I would definitely say the nature of pitches in Pakistan or South Asia and West Indies which is almost identical.

Were PCB schedule setters drunk at the time of setting schedule that they had NO idea about difference between South African and West Indies pitches? Maybe some moron chamcha official would have tried to make a funny or should I say Ignorant statement to justify the tour by saying that West Indians look like Africans [black] therefore it wouldn’t matter whether we practice in West Indies or South Africa.

On the other hand, other two good south Asian cricket teams are playing on South Asian pitches and this series would help both teams to get adjusted on West Indian pitches. Australia, well no comments, they are true professionals. England is looking very good and the way they defeated Australia in Commonwealth series is superb. South Africa is already feeling cool by defeating a 3rd Rank test team in both ODIs and Test matches. West Indies and New Zealand are not weaker teams and they can surprise us at any stage. India just won the match and they would be feeling much better now. Even Bangladesh have defeated Zimbabwe

If this tour was all about practice then current defeat has already screwed their morale and it would now take time to get adjusted on West Indies pitches since they were playing on bouncy tracks and naturally they would repeat same mistakes in early matches which they did in last South African tour.

IMO, Pakistan’s current tour of South Africa was not only irrelevant but costly as well since we have NO fit fast bowler at the moment. Our wicket keeper was already not doing well but thanks to our ancient Parchi System that he has been reselected and Zulqarnain has been ignored. I already mentioned here that we should not start comparing Pakistani team with Australian team. As Inzy says “Boyz did very well”, Offcourse, our boys have done very well and more than our expectations. What PCB should have done that either they had given them rest before World cup, if not then they could arrange an inter cities tournament on Pakistani pitches which could also help them to find new and relevant talent for important World cup tour but when bureaucracy plays a lead role in a system then we can’t expect something good from that system.

Let’s hope for some miracle otherwise I have no idea about our survival. I have doubt that we might not even qualify for quarter finals but I would watch matches for Cricket rather for Pakistani team and I am desperately waiting to see teams like SA, AUS and ENG in action.

Tagged:cricket,worldcup

Valentine Day

If you are planning to celebrate Valentine day.

'Raat you dil mey teri'-Faiz

Today is the 96th Birth anniversary of great Faiz Ahmad Faiz. Pakistan=2.34, SA=8.07 without losing any wicket and they completed the task with in first 15 overs.

Frankly speaking I lost interest in Pakistan match when I turned the TV on after 20 overs. I didn’t hesitate to switch to ESPN where they were telecasting 2nd final between AUS vs ENGLAND. I am not a fan of English team but boy, I really loved their performance. Colly is really doing great and he has come out as a dangerous all rounder. His batting, bowling and fielding was superb. Best of luck Colly and I am sure you would keep enjoying cricket lovers like me who goes for performances rather for a country. On the other hand, the match between India and Srilanka was also very thrilling. Indians did fight back but gave up in the middle. Anyway the performance was not as bad as Pakistan’s performance. I must thank ICC officials, because of their schedule, I didn’t take Pakistan’s offensive defeat seriously.

P.S: Due to current Blogger ban issue in Pakistan, I am unable to moderate any comment so please be patient and forgive me if your comments don’t appear on page, however I will still receive your comments and if you are only addressing me then there is no obstacle between you and me and comments are usually received via email.

Tagged:cricket,pakistan,England,Australia

US to Musharraf:'Dil Mangay More'

They are not satisfied yet and it seems that Musharraf will ‘release’ his pressure by launching new series of attack against Pakistan by different means. According to today’s DAWN , Mr. Robert Gates will be visiting Pakistan soon to meet Musharraf to talk about the recent threat of Talibans.

These visits are part of a renewed focus on Afghanistan, how to deal with the threat posed by Taliban,” a senior Pakistani official said. Afghanistan suffered its bloodiest year in 2006 with more than 4,000 people killed, mostly militants, sometimes in pitched battles between Taliban-led insurgents and Nato-led troops in regions bordering Pakistan.

Pakistan has faced mounting accusations that it did not stop Taliban using its territory as a sanctuary and launching pad for attacks inside Afghanistan, where the hardliners were ousted from power in late 2001 by the US-led forces

“The expected so-called spring offensive by Taliban will be very damaging to the interest of United States and Western countries and they know they cannot afford to lose,” said Masood.“That is why they want Pakistan to be very cooperative and are appreciate of its role, understand the difficulties it faces in controlling the border areas. Usually when you read poetry or listen songs, you feel that alcohol is only consumed by men only. I think this is some global conspiracy against men to label them as bad as they could be. Thanks to our researchers who proved otherwise. According to this post of science blog:

..latest study indicated that both male and female college students participate in drinking games regularly and that participation in those games leads to increased consumption of alcohol. Results of the study appeared in the November 2006 issue of Addictive Behaviors journal.

The research also showed that drinking games lead to an increase in women’s binge-drinking (four drinks in a row for females, five drinks in a row for males). Further, in the women, but not the men, playing drinking games was related to more severe negative alcohol-related problems (i.e. missing class, driving under the influence, engaging in unplanned or unprotected sexual activity, etc.)

Duh, scientists wasted not only their precious time but money as well to do this lame research, didn’t Rafi Sahab already revealed this secret 30 years back when he sang:

gulaabi aankhen jo teri dekhi sharaabi yeh dil ho gaya

Rafi Sahab and the poet had made extensive research on the eyes of sharabi or Sharaban? Women this is why they came up with this gem.

Pankaj Udhas also shared his work by singing:

Sharab cheez he ayse hey na chori jaye, yeh ,mere yaar k jaise hay, na tori jaye

I hope next time these stupid researches will first contact Asian poets or singers so that they don’t waste their time in stupid researches and rather concentrate on something which could benefit humanity.

Nehru and Kashmir

I want to repeat that Government of India will stand by that pledge, whatever happens. That pledge itself stated that it is for people of Kashmir to decide their fate without external interference.
(Address at Public meeting in Srinagar, June4, 1951, quoted from Hindu, Madras, June5, 1951)

Kashmir is not the property of India or Pakistan. It belongs to Kashmiri people. When Kashmir acceded to India, we made it clear to the Leaders of Kashmir people that we would ultimately abide by the verdict of their plebiscite. If they tell us to walk out, I would have no hesitation in quitting Kashmir.

We have taken the issue to the United Nations and given our word of honor for peaceful solution. As a great nation we can not go back on it. We have left the question of final solution to the people of Kashmir and we are determined to abide by their decision.
(Amrita Bazar Partika, Calcutta, January 2, 1952).

It means Indians are not great nation as per Nehru’s definition?

On other occasion:

If, after a proper plebiscite, the people of Kashmir said, ‘we do not want to be with India’; we are committed to accept it though it might pain us. We will not send an army against them. We will accept that, however hurt we might feel about it. We will change the constitution, if necessary

(Nehru’s statement in the Indian Parliament, June 26, 1952)

In reality Indians are rather committed to reject it

India will stand by her International commitments on the Kashmir issue and implement them at the appropriate time.

The repudiation of International commitments would lower India’s prestige abroad.
(Nehru’s speech as reported in Times of India, May 16, 1954)

These things were said by an Indian not by a Pakistani. I specially quoted Nehru so that Indians can’t reject it by any means. Making movies like “Lagay Raho Munnah Bhai” and preaching Gandhi geeri can’t hide facts. Why Indians don’t apply Gandhi Geeri for Kashmiris? Where is peace? There are many other speeches in which Nehru said such “lovely words” to fool the International community about Kashmir. The reality is far far away from these statements given by Nehru several decades ago.

If you ask me, I am totally agreed with what Nehru said:

Kashmir is not the property of India or Pakistan. It belongs to Kashmiri people

God bless Kashmir and their people and I hope and pray that they will soon get rid of the bloody politics of India and Pakistan who are being “Dallaal” [broker] of Kashmir and treating it as a “prostitute”. Let them decide their own fate. According to this source[urdu version], Durrani said:

Despite the fact that Urdu is our national language and it also reflects our national integrity, it is facing prejudices that need to be eliminated

further

He said that Urdu should be used during all national and international diplomatic ceremonies. He said that the NLA’s final recommendations regarding the issue of making Urdu an official language should also include a time frame for adopting Urdu as official language, adding that similar recommendations in the past could not be implemented because they contained no time limit.

Now this is funny, I mean how can you expect such people to speak pure urdu who feel insult to talk in Urdu and consider "uneducated" and "illetrate" to people who communicate in Urdu language.

Durrani suggested that foreign language terminologies being used in subjects of science and mathematics should be adopted in Urdu, as new terminologies could confuse students.

I would agree because once I got chance to read 9th class Chemistry book in Urdu and man I really got headache after reading the urdu translation of few scientific terms. How can you expect a 9th grade student to learn typical Persian or Arabic words.

According to Prof. Ata-ur-Rahman:

more Urdu software was needed to facilitate the adoption of Urdu as the official language.

I agree with him but the point is how can we have more urdu softwares while we don't even have a standardized urdu keyboard and standardized Urdu fonts? Today if we have Nastaleeq fonts then they are not in good quality and if someone is providing quality fonts then they are windows specific. Pakdata guys has done a great job Windows specific so the only option is left to use Arabic Unicode fonts which don't give a good result at all for instance BBC Urdu

Today If we see in computing than many countries are promoting IT in their local languages, forget China,Korea etc, the arab countries are doing great job to promote Arabic in Opensource world. Arab eyes is doing a great job to translate popular opensource softwares in Arabic. whether it's FireFox or KDE, GNome or Ubuntu Linux, everything is being translated into Arabic. On the other hand, Iranians are also promoting Farsi in computing systems. Different Indian languages are also available for computing. When we are not able to do anything for Urdu then there is no chance to promote local languages in software development. I must congratulate young karachiite of SirSyed University of Engineering along with his friends who are sucessfully running Boriat and sincerly willing to promote Urdu content on Internet in unique way. Great work Shariq and I feel proud that you and me have studied in same university.

I don't know what's the main issue behind all this, i think it's lack of intrest nothing else because when we are not even willing to speak Urdu then how can we imagine to promote it? Look not everything will be built by "Angrez". Gora has no interest to write Urdu softwares for us, we local people have to promote it. On govt level, NADRA can do this task because they already have entire registration system in Urdu. Hope this decision will be taken seriously by govt and concerned people and they will promote Urdu and other local languages properly in Pakistan

Why did I become Muslim-Cricketer Yousuf about his conversion

Mohammad Yousuf who recently set lots of records are revealing his story about conversion. You can not only find high quality recitation of entire Holy Quran but audios of Duas/Azkars and Nasheeds etc are also available here. So do visit the website and listen Quran in his beautiful voice. As I said in my related post that one should have tried to listen him once because his voice is very different. Listening Surah Rahman in his voice gives an amazing experience about the words used by Allah to express His greatness.

This is the first time I have seen his picture and I didn't know that he's just ONE year elder than me,heehe :-). Credit goes to Kallis and Prince who played wonderful 5th wicket partnership eased the victory for Proteas. Apart from Pakistani defeat, I must say that entire series was interesting and Pakistanis did fight back.

When Woolmer was asked about the defeat, he plainly blamed to hectic schedule of Pakistani cricket team and he does say right when I saw tired Asif was being asked to continue his spell and that young kid did try his best and produced amazing econ rate that is 2.04, on other hand Danish Kaneria also did amazing spell @1.85 runs/Over. According to Cricinfo, Woolmer reacts:

"The current schedules are ridiculous," he said. "You are already seeing players like Shaun Pollock and Makhaya Ntini who are exhausted and today Asif was an example. Fatigue leads to injuries. It's a proven equation. If you have too much fatigue, your back goes or you twinge a hamstring or get a stress fracture.
"Cricket has to look at it. As a coach I have to manage these things. We've got Umar Gul, Shoaib Akhtar and Shabbir Ahmed sitting at home. Somewhere along the line the commercial aspects and the physical aspects of looking after players have to be revisited."

Is he not true? What I personally think that we did make a mistake that we used only one genuine spinner in entire series and kept relying on our fast bowlers who ultimately got injured. Sami,Gul,Shoaib,Asif and Nazir; four fast bowlers in a squad doesn’t make sense specially when you don’t have any backup. We should have used another spinner like Rahman but we kept relying on Kaneria and tried to use him as a Trump Card. Kaneria did try his best but it was lame to expect too much from him. How could you expect some amazing results from Hafeez who is not a genuine spinner? Asim Kamal was once again sent back without sending him in the field though he could be used in place of Imran Farhat or Hafeez because he’s more solid test player than other two.

Let’s see how things go in ODI series. Guys like Afridi,Imran Nazir are being sent to South Africa.
