Hollandale Deer Classic

Saturday and Sunday, February 10th and 11th

12th Annual Whitetail Deer Classic
Country Side Lanes – Hwy. F & Hwy.39, Hollandale, WI

Open from 10:00AM to 6:00PM
Admission Fees: $5 ($2 under 12)

Registration of a mount or rack in to the contest includes a weekend pass. Friday night registration recommended. Scoring will be done by certified state and national scorers. Entry must remain for the entire show to be eligible for trophies at the end of the contest – 6:00PM Sunday. Antlers brought in on Sunday will be charged $20 to score and they must be brought before noon. Antlers will be scored on a 1st come 1st serve basis.

At 7PM on September 14th, 2005 A UW Researcher will provide additional information their CWD research. This meeting will be held at the Rush Creek Sportsmens Club located on Highway 23, just west of Spring Green, WI.

At 7PM on Setember 7th, 2005, the UW Chronic Wasting Disease deer research team will provide a summary of their deer tracking study findings to all interested parties. The UW research team has some very interesting findings and conclusions regarding their research on CWD. This meeting will be held at the Rush Creek Sportsmens Club located on Highway 23, just west of Spring Green, WI.

Tony Grabski Elected to Conservation Congress

Tony Grabski, Ph. D, Uplands Branch Secretary, and landowner within the current CWD eradication zone has been elected to a three year term on the Iowa Co. Conservation Congress. Mr. Grabski will represent the views of the Uplands Branch, landowners and hunters who live and hunt within the current DEZ and HRZ.

2005 QDMA National Convention

Those interested in attending the upcoming 2005 QDMA National Convention should contact Greg Phillips. There are several officers and board members that are planning on attending the convention. The convention starts on June 2nd, 2005 and runs through the 5th. It is being held in Charleston, SC.
