Do you feel confused or intimidated by the cards, unsure of your ability to read their meanings? This class offers a path into the mysteries of the Tarot, an experiential introduction to the cards from an intuitive and magical perspective. The class explores the key meanings and magical energies of the Tarot--Major and Minor Arcana, including the Court cards. You will learn basic spreads and gain confidence in reading the cards. You are invited to join us on this path into the mysteries of the Tarot! No Tarot or magical experience required. Sliding fee scale $50-$100. We honor and call on Ancestors, Descendants, and Fey, and summon the ancient magic of the Witch’s tool, the Pentacle. With meditation, trance, the shaping and directing of energy, sound and rhythm and movement, ritual, art and dream, we seek the flow of the River of Tears, which draws us into deepening relationship with ourselves, others, and communities. Through the Pentacle of Pearl--the energies of Love, Knowledge, Wisdom, Law and Liberty--we release and empower the flow of the River of Tears within ourselves, acknowledging our grief for what is wounded and our hope for healing, and finding tools for creating relationships with communities/within communities. Prerequisite: Elements of Magic or equivalent. Iron Pentacle experience strongly recommended. Fee: $100. A $25 non-refundable deposit holds your space. In a world where a Cup can be a Holy Grail, a womb, or our heart; a Sword can be Excalibur, an idea, or a single word - our deepest knowing emerges. This experiential 4-session class explores the Major Arcana of the Tarot as a mirror of the lights and shadows of our soul, an opening into the powers of desire, will, choice and magic. All levels of Tarot experience are welcome. Seasoned reader, sincere novice, or anywhere in between--if you feel called, we invite you to join us as we journey with the Tarot through the mystery of who we have been, are, and may become.
