An older couple had a very sick old dog. They were afraid to take him to the vet..to put him down...for fear of being charged with neglect or some form of animal abuse.(They also could not afford a vet bill) So...they killed the animal and buried him in their yard. Trouble was he was not dead...a neighbor heard the whining of the dog after he was buried. Now the couple faces potential charges of animal abuse. (The animal was euthanized by Humane Society) As joyful.one said it is an "up-side-down" world! Seems there is more concern for animal than people....and when it comes to the law the "justice" handed out certainly comes down harder on those who kill animal ( or abuse theme) than those who kill people!Janhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14151873680173500145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10381465.post-59047111340818845632008-10-26T12:10:00.000-07:002008-10-26T12:10:00.000-07:00Reminds me of a story in the news this past week. ...Reminds me of a story in the news this past week.
