For those who have had their homes on the market for longer, don’t lose heart!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Preparing and maintaining a house for the real estate market and individual showings is fatiguing to say the least.  It is difficult to maintain the momentum necessary to keep the house looking in prime condition after repeated showings to only faintly interested potential buyers.  How do you remain optimistic without being unrealistic, and keep up the momentum? and &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a style="font-family: arial;" href="http://realtor.com/"&gt;Realtor.com&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;, we looked at the 10 cities identified in &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a style="font-family: arial;" href="http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2007/biz2/0709/gallery.boom_towns.biz2/index.html"&gt;How to play the real estate bounce-back&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt; In Business 2.0.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;We searched for all residential listings &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a style="font-family: arial;" href="http://zillow.com/"&gt;Zillow&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt; and &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a style="font-family: arial;" href="http://realtor.com/"&gt;Realtor.com&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;, and recorded the number of homes listed for sale on October 7, 2007.  Realtor.com is the number one real estate destination on the web, and reports 5.7 million monthly visitors (&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a style="font-family: arial;" href="http://alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?url=realtor.com"&gt;Current stats&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt; from Alexa).  Zillow has been active since February, 2006 and reports 3-4 million visitors monthly (&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a style="font-family: arial;" href="http://alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?url=zillow.com"&gt;Current stats&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt; from Alexa).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;We found that Zillow has about 9% of the listing volume of Realtor.com (Range 3-24% of the Realtor.com listing volume).
