In 2005 this Blog became one of the first on Cincinnati.Com. While I've had a blast writing it... changes in my responsibilities at The Enquirer and the addition of little ones in my home life have made it more and more difficult for me to maintain it at the level it should be (you've probably noticed). I was skeptical when NBC took its content out of iTunes. I have to hand it to them though, Hulu.com is awesome. Cincypunk Fest is back this weekend. Upwards of 40 bands on three stages in two days. Went last year and had a great time. Paramount released a photo from their upcoming live action "GI Joe" movie. It's Ray Park (Darth Maul) as Snake Eyes. I know all the toys of my childhood are being recycled and all... but I really thought "GI Joe" would be the toughest sell. A war movie for kids in this day and age? MTV.com has the first look at the CGI Hulk in the upcoming Ed Norton version of "The Incredible Hulk." Personally, I think the CGI still looks a little shakey... but then, it's a trailer 3 months before release. Plus... they really have nowhere to go but up from the last one!

One year from the release of the "Watchmen" film adaptation... Zach Snyder made some character photos available to the public. Any readers of the graphic novel out there? What do you think? Hollywood Reporter says that a 2 hour "24" TV movie is on the way. The movie will serve as a prequel to season 7... which was beat down by the writer's strike. Interestingly enough, some had suggested the show needed to phase out it's real time, 24 hour approach to come up with a new style. Maybe this will serve as a test case. ABC is considering reviving Scrubs for 18 more episodes when (and if) it ends its run on NBC. In stranger TV news... "Family Guy" may launch a spin off centered around Cleveland.
