Details:

CARY - Thimbler.com — the only place on the web where you can buy, sell, design, tailor and customize clothes for shoppers of any size — today released an online survey to get at the heart of what shoppers really want and need from an online fashion marketplace. Survey questions range from specific brands to fit issues and encourage shoppers to share experiences, anecdotes and ideas. Survey participants randomly chosen twice weekly will win a pair of Thimbler customized blue jeans (value $87).

Thimbler.com is a true hybrid online shopping experience, merging fashionable clothing tailored to fit any size with innovative and independent designers to create a truly unique fashion marketplace where customers AND designers can let their individuality and creativity shine.

“We are in the business of serving our customers better than anyone else, so it’s absolutely critical for us to continually seek their input,” said Charles Tse, founder and CEO of Thimbler.com. “We live in a digital era, where people can customize their own news feeds from Time magazine and other news sites. We simply follow that model by encouraging feedback and allowing our customers and designers to customize their Thimbler experience.”

Chassie, Thimbler’s Plus Size Diva agrees. “Thimbler custom-made clothing is made to fit you, not a fit model. I left with the understanding, the tools, and the confidence to get my business soaring to the next level. I’m already setting my goals and counting my “no’s”! Thank you Bill, Jason, and Greg for traveling to Charlotte and taking time from your weekend to show all of us today how to grow our business and be successful. Whether it’s a family who’s gotten upside-down on their mortgage due to the recent upheaval in the economy, or a struggling company, debt is becoming a huge problem. And that’s without discussing the growing number of people with huge credit card debt, mounting student loans, medical bills and so many other situations.

For those with large amounts of debt, debt management or Debt Consolidation can be a solution to financial problem that doesn’t involve declaring bankruptcy. Declaring bankruptcy can be a lifesaver for people and companies with un-managable debt and no assets, but let’s save that for a very last resort.

Debt consolidation offers debtors a chance to consult with a financial professional about what they owe, who they owe, and how they can reasonably pay it off. For most people and companies in debt, debt consolidation means one lower monthly payment, instead of trying to keep track of and pay off so many bills with their own unique deadlines and payment terms. It should also give debtors a break from collection calls and creditors’ letters, because by paying that one monthly payment, they are appeasing all creditors from all sources.

In these tough times, it’s good to know all your options!

Game Reviews

The new online kids’ game GardenParty World is almost ready, and Victoria from Asylum was nice enough to send me an email introducing me to the beta.

I checked out the game, which is billed as a safe, multiplayer world for kids. Garden Party is a collection of minigames, which can be played interactively or alone, at which you win the local Garden Party currency, Orbs. The concepts of the games were cute, and able to be played interactively or solo, but I’m not really the target demographic, so I found them a bit repetitive and simplistic. I didn’t really like the ratio of orbs to mingames, as I felt forced to play boring minigames to make the cash for the fun part of Garden Party, the garden. I don’t really need a game for the opportunity to do something not-so-fun to make money to do fun things… I think that’s called having a job.

Via Garden Party World on Simpson's Paradox.

Herobits is a new CCG about heroes who – no, wait, it’s not exactly a collectible card game. Although it has many of the elements of your usual CCG, there are no booster packs and no looking for rares in sealed packs (known to jaded gamers as kidding gambling). To play, you need two players, each with one fifty-card deck.

Via Upcoming Herobits on Thumb Gods.

You play as one Sim, not a household, and the story is much more linear than the PC versions.

It’s also no longer a sandbox game. I happened to like the penthouse
missions, especially goth cultist Ava Cadarva, but it wasn’t the
almost-unlimited sandbox play style we knew and loved in other Sims games.

Via Visiting Strangetown: Sims 2 on the DS on Simpson’s Paradox.

Although I was super excited to get my review copy of the Princess Bride game, I wasn’t sure whether I would automatically like this game because it’s based on the Princess Bride, or hate it because it’s based on the Princess Bridedifferent. It’s not exactly a secret that I love Harry Potter, and the game promises to be a wizard school MMOPRG. The game is adorable from the first loading screen. I’m not upside-down on a mortgage, I don’t have thousands of dollars in credit card debt, thankfully. Many people do, and that number is growing steadily.

For people while large amounts of debt, debt management is a solution to financial problems. Debt management is an informal arrangement between the debtor and their creditors, when a debtor cannot afford to pay their current bills but does not want to declare bankruptcy. A debt management organization often acts as a mediator and negotiator in creating this
arrangement.

Debt management offers lower payments, one payment a month instead of several to different companies, a break from creditors calling and sending collection letters, and protection from losing one’s home. Any creditors that do contact you afterwards can be referred to the debt management company. If your finances change, whether it’s a raise, a new job or getting laid off, your payments will be adjusted accordingly. If you are making more money, you’ll be able to pay off your debt faster and if your finances change for the worse, you won’t be responsible for more than you could manage to pay.

CD Rates

If you’re lucky enough to have money in invest in these rough economy, you definitely want to find the Highest CD Rates to get the best return on your investment. It is equally true that an unintended consequence of FHTM’s explosive growth in North Carolina over the past 7 months is that we all have people in our downlines that have not been properly trained.

It’s time to change that once and for all. Bill Harloff, Greg Frank and Jason Harloff have spent countless hours putting together the most powerful, detailed and comprehensive training FHTM has ever seen. They have recently formed a new venture, FHTM Comprehensive Training, and are making their training available to all FHTM representatives, regardless of organization.
What do you think?

Via Announcing FHTM Comprehensive Training « FHTM Comprehensive Training.

Comprehensive Training Discounts

"Reduced Fees For Our Next Two Sessions!" from FHTM Comprehensive Training. A home security system can be used to protect your house and your possessions (like your computer, TV, jewelry, etc.) while you’re out of town. Even more importantly, you’ll have peace of mind while you’re traveling. Make sure you don’t forget your code or pick something too obvious. Sometimes a person sets the alarm before leaving for a vacation or business trip, and the kid coming to water the plants accidentally sets it off! Awkward! You can find a home security system that’s right for you and your property!
