A man known for lack of moral and personal duty; a man known for sinful and unbecoming characters, a man known for conspiracy, a man known as unfit father, a man known as a sex slave, a man known as an absolute killer, a man known as demagogue, and a man known as categorically unfit Buddhist. Whenever Cambodia faced crisis a known man packed and ran off, as usual and never failed. That was his irreplaceable record.

This man violated 1954 Geneva Conference of his own declared non-aligned and Neutrality. In 50's amidst rage and demand from populace for pluralism, this man aspired to Marxism and Absolutism. Out of self absorbance, all political parties were demonized and outmaneuvered with rigged elections. Opponents and foes of ideology were ordered to be accidentally killed.

In 60's this man instigated students to burn down US embassy then severed relation. Also this man sabotaged the Council of Throne form its constitutional duty to select king other than his own incompetent parents. This man was behind all political killings included public execution of young outspoken critics. This man plundered treasury and fragile peace in allowing enemies to stay in territory in spite of UN condition. This man let US bombardment and Viet Cong to recruit Khmer rebels as his army.

In 70's this man pledged to uphold Ho Chi Minh endeavor at the expense of Cambodia. This man nearly wiped out 1/3 of population as personal revenge. At UN, this man unrelentingly spoke in defend of Khmer Rouge then became its nominal President throughout 80 period. This man cheated refugees to fight and die in his disingenuous endeavor. This man hand picked his unfit son to be Lord of beaten and hopeless refugees in exchange for family power.

In 90's this man subjugated UN to reinstate his despot monarchy. This man violated public trust and UN accord in decreeing illegal election and government of dictators. This man did coerce people to accept illegal coup and government treaties. This man was instrumental in violation all UN conditions.

In new millennium this man hand picked his half Khmer and raised by dictator of doomed Czchek Republic as heir to the desecrated throne. This man faked death and illness to gain sympathy while facilitating illegal treaties to benefit Viet Nam and its lackey. This man stroked and instigated people with his nonsense Supreme Border Council to be arrested in speaking up against his already consented treaties. This man was and is the prime UN habitual violator since the 50'™ up to this second.

Now this man wanted people to honor him as the sole hero of Cambodia before his real death. This man declared retirement but still taunts Khmer people and nation. He would curse anyone in his way. He would lick infidel feet as long as he got his way. There will he come again in May 2006 and his name is Sihanouk, the Cambodia Formidable Hero of Hypocrisy of Century.

People oh my dear poor people ,you must come out en mass to demand his apology and show outrage before he and his crony can step off the plane in his return in May. In his short coming I would say, Hell to the Chief and His!

message: For the past 50 years, Cambodia membership seat at UN shifted
from one regime to another. Each shift affected Cambodia ability in
defense or security and self respect. Post colonial rule, the 1954 Geneva
Conference, the 1973 US Cold War Domino Accord, and then the latest
1991 Paris Accord entrapped Cambodia from raising its army at its own
prerogative. Every Accord signed between Cambodia and other signatory
nations, it never failed its framed perimeter to lock in Cambodia ability in
own defense. The same infringement applied on past and current regime
not to raise army beyond UN's wrath. This appears bias and odd in UN
conducts since France put a curse on Cambodia self liberation in 1954.
Why this happening to and only Cambodia?  Why Cambodia leaders allowed
UN from granting the same right as its neighbors?

The neighboring Thailand is not only exceptional but permissible to
increase its army at will. From late 1800 it seemed at ease since it had
gotten much from Napoleonic France in one big shot deal accord to annex
Khmer land and people. After UN creation it was not only a privileged
ally of SEATO but exclusive bilaterally US military ally in case of
emergency. During the same time, France legally acknowledged on papers but
it went ahead with its arbitrarily cessation of Khmer land to Viet Nam
control in shielding its humiliated defeat in Dien Bien Phu. Not only
that Viet Nam can raise its army as the fifth largest in the world with
plenty of aids from former USSR, China, and US whom all are the UN
principal conductors. No question from UN Permanent Security Council.

To clear Viet Minh from Cambodia after 1954 Geneva Conference if it
wasn't for the militias his regime ever lasted until 1970. Meanwhile
Viet Minh avenged him by agitating the rebels in Samlaut-Wai Chap to hold
his regime hostage once again in late 60's. Again if it wasn't for
the militias Battambang would have been ceded to rebels since. In 1970,
at Sihanouk premeditated intent, Cambodia had lesser than ten thousands
old and poor equipped army to fight hundreds of thousand well trained
and equipped Viet Cong plus South Viet Nam disguised infiltrators.  From
all these, former and present rulers never learned from such fatal and
suicidal mistake in the 60-70's when push comes to shove with
neighbors.

Lok Soth Polin's Ligne de Brevie piece in Angkorborei News invokes
our deep thoughts in witnessing Cambodia leadership habitual introvert
and passive aggression demeanor via internal bickering. Lessons learned
from his views while Cambodia leaders preoccupied with their ill
endeavors, foxy France ceded our rightful ownership to Yuon or Siam or Lao
without a flinch to our nationalists protest. Undeniably we were our own
worst enemies. Other hand French or neighbors seemed to know Khmer
leadership especially monarchy plus the surrounding elite's intellect and
weakness very well then. They disrespected us, Khmers, profanely.

From this and evermore, Cambodia may have to learn to be extrovert,
self assured demand and respect through its national discipline, and
strong governance morality to oblige UN or others respect. Naturally as a
person, one must be physically and mentally fit to confront obstacle so
does the government. But now let us put personal alignment of belief and
politic aside for a moment and try to search self deep reflection
why do we have to struggle for so long to be respected Let's search
for alternative that each of us can do in part to help redeeming self
respect and dignity for our nation.

worrying about the stability in Cambodia nowadays

I am one of many cambodian american living in the United State who are worrying about the stability in Cambodia nowadays. I believe that the government which is backed by Vietnamese Government, nowadays are trying to convert the democratic country into Communism or Socialization as Vietname or Burma. Rich and Powerful people, they are never worry about the poor people who are dying because of poverty. As you can see now, many arrests of the human rights and opposition party leaders have been made in favor to the head of the government and to destroy the democracy. They, Cambodian government, said that Cambodia is democratic country and have many opposition parties but if the leader of the opposition party get a lot of supports, they will arrested that leader so that leader will not stand a chance to get the vote in the next election.

For the last 5 years, i have seen the improvement of human right in Cambodia but for the last 4 weeks, that improvement are back down till zero. People have no rights to express their opinion anymore. In Cambodia, we have a lot of high educated people who recieved the education from abroad such as United State, Japan, Australia, France or England, but those people dare not say anything which impact to the government or they will be put in JAIL. I can not believe that my country ( CAMBODIA) now have the Politic prisoners just like 1980 till 1990.

I hope that the donor countries such as Japane, USA, or other NGOs should give some restrictions to Cambodian goverment to respect human right. Because Cambodian government nowadays can live because of 400 to 500 millions dollars donation each year, so the leader of the government will take some words from all donor countries.

Please take this into consideration.

As we all remembered

As we all remembered, In 5 and 6 July 1997, when the coup led by Prime MInister Hun Sen against Prince Ranarith. Prince Ranarith run to get help and support from all over the world especially the United State of America because he believe that only USA have to power to pressure the KHmer government and can help him get some power back. But right now when America government try to find justice for those who are unfairly jailed by the government, Prince Ranarith said that America government is invading the internal affair or intergrety of the Cambodian Government.

Anyone know why?? because Prince Ranarith is a person who think only MONEY and POWER. he never thought about democracy or the right of people at all. He is willing to do anything just for the MONEY and POWER, oh one more " YOUNG girl " .

He is now trying to collape the opposition party leader, Mr. Sam Rainsy and the International Republic Institute IRI leader, Mr. Kem Sokha because he believe that if those people are still have VOICE to talk, Prince Ranarith will have no more VOTEs from the people in the next election year 2008.

For the last 40 years, Democracy in Cambodia is oddly unique. Because of that a few internal instabilities and conflicts broke out. Government head does not heed the legislative but it is his way or revolution. The head of state rests in the so called constitutional monarch who is merely a rubberstamp of the government head. Government keeps same and incompetent people in the same executive position forever. That encourages troubles and autocracy. In sum Cambodia is still a single party government, which it is, not much different than China or North Korea or Cuba.

Now Cambodia is still the dog eats dog society even after its neo imperialistic and colonial eating dog rein was condemned and completely withdrawn in 1993. Actually Cambodia Democracy is fit with more of the autocracy. Only party top dog can be qualified for Prime Minister Job. Better yet being Prime Minister is absolute and untouchable. Voters can NOT say or criticize his policy publicly. It is a criminal act. People of Cambodia are still living in the dark-age and fear of the powerful.

Obvious example of Cambodia democracy false pretense is in its current Senatorial election. The law disallows popular vote for the upper house of legislature. It serves purpose of special group manipulation and intimidation rather than nation interest. All candidates will be chosen by particular special interest group, party, or institution. This is a strange form of democracy that usually use in communist regime. The individuality is more inclined to protect own group interest more than country. This made a mockery out of real democracy.

In order to catch up with real time democracy, Cambodia needs to reform its Constitution reflected term limitation with pluralism and popular mandate in election laws. Also, the veto power must be added in to keep balance and check in government. The legislative vote now based on hand signifying which lacks of privacy. This is a flaw in freedom of expression. All votes ought to be conducted confidentially and privately with respect of individual rights of expression not by group coercion. The present Constitution needs to put it to test in people confidence and scrutiny. Of course that can be done in referendum vote once in every decade or two to ensure national stability and peace.

Currently Cambodia laws give too much elbow room for dictatorship to cling on to power. That is too dangerous for stability and peace in the region. Therefore Cambodia needs a change once again for sure.

We, the Cambodians are very disapointed the way the communist hun sen- the slave of the sihanouk-vietcong, momnique leaches, that played the roll of the unrest, and violation of its own constitutions..it seems to me that there will be some shaking under ground in order to defeat all these puppets. The leader who runs Cambodia today is the former Khmer rouge leader comrad- hun sen and the CPP party. Those people who had been the khmer rouge since the 60's. the reason that the vietcong let hun sen did that because the vietcong knew that there is a chance for them to steal the khmer land and on the other land khmer who live in Cambodia today almost 70% are youger than 25 years of age, and they know nothing about this Radical Regime, the regime of horror- (the pol pot- salot sar, sihanouk- the slave king, chea sim, heng samrin, noun chea, hou nim-hou yuon, sar kheng, khiev sam phorn, Ieng sary, hun sen, ta mok..and their khmer Rouge comrads), and the older cambodians most of them are women.

All the khmer rouge leaders, the communist soldiers, now became the leader of the country, provinces, ctities, town, and villeges. Today the poor Cambodians have only freedom of religion, which is to manipulate the innocent Cambodians, the UN, and the world. These religions also belong to the communist government, and the hun sen goverment is run indirect support by the communist Vietnam-vietcong. Let must don't forget, before the former khmer rouge used the poor Cambodians as a Radical Social Experiments, which was watched, and ran by the chinese that led to almost four millions Cambodians lost their lifes. Now these Communist khmer rouge changed their new faces, new leaders, and used the poor innocents cambodians as their economical purposes( money), for its bosses and their pockets. The funds from the US and the UN is " DEAD"; never get into the poor Cambodians, instead its went to the individual's pocket of the Communist leaders. Hun sen, chea sim, heng samrin, and their governments got hundreds of millions! , and mi llions of dollars by selling the country and the innocents' lands, sell the cambodian border, the old growth forests( big woods), that had been there more than two thousands years old. To use the full meaning of these crimes in the American word mean " Treason ". Last but not least, we, the Cabodians wanted the US/UN to help in response to the trail of those innocents, and the unrest, our khmer should exercise our freedom in peaceful-protest against the communist leaders that they committed the crime against humanity in the past as well as recently. Otherwise, it will haunt forever. So please do this for the world, and protect the little people like Cambodians!

Wish CIC be prospered for the coming year, 2006

I would like to wish CIC ( Cambodian Information Center) be prospered for the coming year, 2006.

I have been so glad that CIC has provided a unique website which allows an individual to express his or her opinion without fear of prosecution. One can express his or her view with respect without fear of intimidation.

In addition, we(I) try to respect others as much as I can for the effort that one has made. Of course, an individual sometimes, out of focus and ignorant, and moreover, he or she can be very personal or very argumentatively or even very opinionated, however; that's what the democracy all about. That's what freedom of expression and free press all about.

Furthermore, we can learn a lot from our friends whether the inform information by facts or by opinions. Especially, the opinion which full of knowledge that's very well informed.

I personally find that CIC's voice of opinion very interesting. It's all most like a club for sharing the information and expression or even a political frustration. Never the less, I myself usually express my concern regarding Cambodian home land political evil, and I've felt good when I received feeback from our friends, of course some of our friends aren't always kind but I understand that it is our human nature and behavior, and I must respect such reaction.

Last, I want to thank you CIC for allowing us the opportunity to use the site for free for expressing our opinion. I wish more people can be informed about CIC.

Universally people of all colors cheer the arrival of 2006 with Champagne, good novelties, specialty food and romantic indulgence to loved ones. I look back and recollect the Government of Cambodian principally manned by Cambodian People's Party year long achievements. Not too many that inspired my urge to toast a cold glass of ice tea over my rice soup of new crop from Thailand, regrettably not Cambodia, with sautÃ© trey kess and prohok kreung aing tomorrow early dawn.

All and all the Supplemental Treaty, recently signed by Prime Minister Hun Sen arbitrarily, was dominating my thought process throughout times. Even though, there were many other things that had crunched my heart too. I thought 2005 was a starting time for Cambodia another 25 years or more of vassal fifdom of Yuon imperialism.

Congratulations to Mr. Hun Sen for much of achievement to subjugate his national dignity and integrity for a job title filled with unjustifiable vastly wealth as his nation is at the bottom of UN most poor nation list. He has had his hands on Cambodia choke hold for the last 20 years as a renegade DRK cadre to a full time lackey of his ancestral nemesis. Every imaginable thing Mr. Hun Sen had done to Cambodia was not for the welfare of people but his cronies, benefactors, and selective cliques.

Cambodia is a nation full of foreign debts and let live at the charity of others. For two decades under his rule Cambodia has become the most suppressive and abusive nation in the peninsula of Indo-Khmer. He monopolizes and manipulates every branch of government and political party. The next most notable violation is in human rights which categorically are at play until the last second of old year.

Remarkably in 2005, he has held the legislative and head of state hostage to submit the nation under Yuon colonalization even furthermore. Also he halted and stalled the UN initiated tribunal to almost an unrecoverable task at times. The whole nation and judicial system is under his tyrannical grip evermore so. He repeatedly insulted voters and UN that he is irreplaceable and indispensable. Fiercely he has proclaimed he who is the Iron Fist and Strong Man ever lived in Cambodia after the blood thirst Khmer Rouge regime was toppled in 1979.

Thus 2005 was the most significant year that the very tyrant was able to sell out Cambodia effortlessly to its most fearsome violator of centuries. Of course 2005 would be another bygone but not forgettable of Cambodia government suppression and violations of human rights. But let 2006 resolution be the awakening time for those to rise and be responsible for the sake of the nation and its humanity.

Enough 20 years of abuse and contempt, let Cambodia rise for its liberty and justice for all.

CAMDISC FORUM year end note

Many have actively exchanged information and conversation here for longer and recent time alike seems to aim for ONE thing, an open debate, which is lack in Cambodia. Most spent own time and effort to be as keen and open as possible in sharing or dialogue among aliases without further inquiry of personal information. It is free and open based on mutual respect and understanding. Aliases signed on and off at will. It is an incubator of democracy in its own way. However there seem increasing in unreasonable attacks and personable. Some fell right in the face of libelous and defames classification.

Groups or individuals are supposedly bound by unspoken rules of mere civility at own decency and respect for the rest. But it is troubling not to notice the growing appearance of discord reflected sometimes from passionate views and political motifs.

In CAM-DISC there are several groups of thought with each initiative and goal to find truth and may be social justice for the sake of Cambodia people. The great benefit of objectively debate may encourage further development of Cambodia basic democracy and civility. That in a nut shell is credited to the support and contribution of its sponsors.

Out of brief observation, there are quite few in style. Some seem to allege threats and vendetta due to indifference of view on topical matters. Some seem overreached and overstepped of others due to political views. Some seem to be plain jokes and rift incitation. Some seem to be diplomatic or plain spoken. Some seem to be obsessive in personal exhibitionism and boasts. Some seem to be more disciplined and reasonably journalistic. Some seem to be purely politicos and party junkies. Some seem to be literary and poetic critics. Some seem to be bias and fit with several forms of ism. Some seem to be driven by historical sentiment and conviction. Some seem just to have someone to dialogue with.

But with all, CAM-DISC has provided a small group of self motivated scholars or pundits or simple folks or religious or cult advocates or politicos to have a place to share and speak on subjects. Clinically CAM-DISC provides a closed door consultation and rehabilitative support to the victims and victors alike in healing and reconciliatory process. Without saying it, CAM-DISC has provided vision and guidance for the earnest learners and truth seekers alike.

Now it is time to celebrate the success in tune with Christians or the like year ending holidays, I wish to thank people of CAM-DISC and those who shared and dialogued with sincere courage and passion without holding grudges to help awakening the sleeping and confused minds in here and Cambodia.

May peace and serenity return in full force to our beloved Khamer land and people on earth in time to rid turmoil and distrust forever.

May CAM-DISC be in good spirit and diligence to assist the learning and the teaching for times to come.

May experiences and errors in thus passing year be an exemplary for better choice in coming years to assist people in self-sustaining and reliance.

Rannaridh is up to no good again as he insinuates reshuffling implied reduction his Party members in his Big Brother Hun Sen Package government of over 300 strong and top qualified personnel, is seriously considered. Is this a pre-view 2008 election psychological intimidation or what? Observers seem to think so.

His Highness, the Prince of Darkness, is seeking Enlightment from the Renaissance Iron Man Lord of the Misery of Cambodge before he will strip his men from current government posts. Exactly is a Machiavellian approach to conquer mind of independent individual who may see the need of nation is above personal greed. Rannaridh has been sleeping in blood and mud for too long and he seems not able to distinguish the smell of blood and toils.

Due to rifts and division in both camps, CPP and FUNCINPEC, amongst top echelons the duet device new plot to capture 2008 election brilliantly. Both are in tune to divide and conquer. They both eliminate dissention and opposition as day goes by. In US and Europe, many of FUNCINPEC loyal followers are awaken and sought out alternative to reduce the growth of dictatorial incline of the duo-politicos.

The Century Iron Man as people dubbed, Hun Sen, is more belligerent than ever as he befriended with Red China that has increased its presence in world economic strength to bully its former adversaries on UN stage. He is arrogantly insulting UN Human Rights Commission in duty to monitor if Cambodia complied its obligatory mandate when signed 1991 Paris Peace Accord. Hun Sen seems to misplace priority as government to serve Viet Nam self imposed agreement over Cambodia sovereignty. He willfully ignores the 1991 Paris Peace Accord totally.

Cambodia is in state of frightening as he increases his suppression and persecution on critics and press. The Prince is no help but stoop up to the Iron Man conveniences. The critics some were able to flee the country and some were unjustly placed in detention for raising unfavorable issues. Both put fear in people hearts and heads as they continue to alienate the outside world outcry.

Cambodia is no longer ruled by democratic government but autocratic clique. This is an outrage. Politicians are no longer exercising self conscience to serve people but masters of the Parties. One time people would die to defend his name and principles but now the Prince of Darkness commits more unethical and immoral deeds than his Big Brother in less than 12 year period. It appears both Hun Sen and Rannaridh are forging a new Party before 2008 election.

People guard your voice with life , this is the 60's deja vu.

Angkor Watt, Angkor Thom, and others old ancient monuments areas should be set aside by a Nation's government to protect the natural beauty, and others remarkable features.

Those old ancient stone buildings also preserve places of cultural,historical, or scientific interest. Because many of them allow us to enjoy and appreciate majestic peaks, sparking lakes surround them, and other seenic wonders.

These Angkor Areas are rich in national wonderlands, famous historical places, and sites for many kinds of outdoor recreations.

Although, the government should set aside all the old Khmer historic areas to preserve them for the benefit and enjoyment of our khmer, and the people around the world.

Now these areas, and others old preserve ancient monuments, especially Angkor Watt as a whole faces a number of challenges.

The governments must deal with pressures to develop its resources that could bring millions in revenue.

Also the government should concern the illegal contract, pollution-especially air, and overcrowded buildings that built close to Angkor Areas. Another concerns include the rights of the people who were the Angkor peoples' original inhabitants. Though, these are the battle grounds, and other features of our Khmer cultural, and historical heritage. All these,because many people around the world are attract by the outstanding features of its individual monuments.

Angkor Watt is famous through out the world, and attracted millions of visitors annually, and some those old preserve buildings are considered world treasures, as well.

On the other hand, the most concern, especially the concern about who benefit from the tourism in and surround Angkor areas, and those benefit have gone to individual government officials who control these Angkor Areas, and large benefits gone to foreign-base corporations. As a result many may oppose the establishment.

Last Angkor Watt, and Its surrounded areas, should belong to Khmer people, and should not owned or illegal contracts by especial interest, and big corperations.

These special interest, and other big corporations destroyed our Khmer Nationa Old Growd( Big Woods ), nibled Khmerlands,polluted the great lake- Tonle Sap, NOW they owned Khmer National Treasures, too!.

For our khmer(Cambodians), whom your concerns, any where you all live, in abroad or around the world-especially in the USA. Please wake, and stand up for the innocents who'd live in our homeland, and don't sleep too long..20 some years its long enough!..

As I can see, there are only our khmers who'd live abroad, togethers we can stabilize these situations,and against all of the one who wanted to destroy our homland( the land of the Khemr Empire) which now thrank into the size of a palm. It makes me sick, when it reminded me about these history. Today I have no hope from anyone or any political parties., I can not depend on innocents khmer, the students, the educators, the sam raingsy, the king sihamoni-girl, and the funcipuppets, also plus some others cryout about our homeland to be peace and integrety. I don't think, and also have a little hope for these group will be successfull what so ever. why?? and why not ? these groups or parties had been in the country since the racist rofi in stalled the UN peace keepers in Cambodia in the 90's. Nothing change! thinks:..except ..they just made these puppets grew stronger and stronger by took the land from the innocents khmer families and sold to the big industries, and tycoons for money to keep their communist party strong and part of them to please their bosses(Ah nheings, ah kuntorbs ). Other reasons, Facts:History: 1). Our khmer suffred from the khmer rouge, the red khmer, the king-the puppet who's always the slave of the chinese( these are not included the khiev samphorn people- the psycopath, the slave of the stupid king, the leaches). 2). our khmer suffered from the vietnamese, very big time. 3). Our khmer suffered from the heng samrin,the hun sen,the chea sim regime-the pol pot number two regime, (you all must remember that.. salut sar is death, but the pol pot people still alive, and the still on top of you everyday. remember that they said in 75s, about the riches work on the back of the poors?.. I think all of our khmer forgot already .. its only just some years ago..please let not forget about the cruel things that they did to us. Most of them hated the lon nol regime-khmer republic, but today they said they all had their educations since the khmer republic..thinks: does it make sense Right ??

hehehe .. very very funny right? the dictator governemnts dragged our country, and our poor innocents khmer into many long years so that their bosses have more times to expand their (vietnamese) people into our homeland. Hint:Think about the bamboo that grew in your backyard- that is how the vietnamese idiology, and they will minipulate you and take our khmer territory. Think: It took the vietnamese 24 hours to invade Cambodia very easily, and it took 20 years to win the Khmer Rouge? Why?..because they use the Khmer Rouge- their former students as their way to stay longer, and times to build their secret, and deploy its people and territory. These are facts.. not fictions...clear?..if you all or our khmer don't believe me..let take a look at the provinces around the vitnamese boarders.. even in the capital city of those provinces- like prey Veng , Kampong Cham..ect. in some parts are all vietnamese speaking, and its people..so are our khmer?? well.. our khmers are in the farm land or in the jungles again. Let me go into the heart of the Cambodian capital city in Phnom Penh, the place where our leaders and their gangs' live, as an example.If you are a politician for our khmer( khmerism or Cheth Khmer), please go check the stores, the plazas, the big-super markets, the Malls, and the big industries..go check now.. who own them?.. then tell me me if I'm wrong. And then go check the people whose sell watergrasses, whose sell vegetables,fresh fish and crabs along the side walk,..etc.. who are they?..all of them are the poors khmer! .. and some of them were mocked by the hungery polices without border, too. Very good hah!..Think please, then you will see what I am talkng about. Do you know that the average khmer earn less that one dollar a day?..realize that?.. the riches make more than 100.00- 1,000.00 a day!..WoW not anybody surprise right!..becuase of the puppets governments that is the reason. Do you think our homeland will be prosper, if the governments are corrupted, the government run by the dictators,the governments still use its communist idiology, the governments run indirect by the vietnamese, and the chinese puppets, the governments have no accountability what so ever, the governments use Cambodia as the police state, the governments always fight or kill each other for its own benefits, last the governments are scaming, by using our khmer innocents to ask the foreigns aide for their individual benefit. WOW! how that possible? Facts: well go check yourself at any where or places around the whole khmer Kingdom. check the buildings , the school names, and others..etc. anywhere in Cambodia, I don't see that they were builded by the international aides, or from some foreign organizations at all, excepted those places were built by our khmer from abroad whom whose got the will from their hearts to help build our homeland. Hints: If there is no foreign or international funds, do you think these governments willing to do all of that?..

well that is their secrets of success... very funny hah! Well.. let me tell you. I had been waiting, and researhing for almost some 20 years to understand these khmers puppets and its governments, included the slave-king, old and new. Every times I put my fingers on the keybaord, and started writing, my tears drop, always! why?..becuase its hurt and it hurts so bad, if you are khmer blood. Remember that when you got to the top, will always round up to the buttom. I knew lots of our khmer blood wanted to help fight for our homland too, but they don't know how, and some of them are too premature in making decission and rush to judgement, thats why our khmer divided i! nto many differents groups. Well think and use stratergies: In order to be succeed, what can we do about it? If you can, do you believe in youself?..Now thats is the reason our khmers face everyday. Its ery, very difficult decission for our khmers to make. Most of our khmers, especially the students who wanted to fight for our country, don't have an ability to do so..why?..becuase most of them don't believe in any political parties anymore, because most of their parties have no political purposes, no bases, not have enough educations, believe in fate, feel unsecure, talked nonsense, and bragged too much, and especially they have financial problems. I my opinion they still immature. Think: for a while- I don't meant to discourage them..but its true!..I just want you to think and regroup thats all. Let think that our government is your parents, they suppose to raise or take care of you...instead.. they give and take care someone else..how do you feel..and also if you knew that your parents are thief, the killers, got the money that covered with blood of the khmer innocents. If you are the children.. its very hard to make a decision,,right?...THINK!! Think about all the reasons that I decribed above. Let me clearify to all of you about our Cambodian government today (inlcuded old the puppet king- the second Marcos), I will talk about the king-girl sihamunary later- the boy to girl king. These leaders thinks that you all khmers are stupid, so stupid that they have hard time dealing with everyday. Did anyone know why? .. because they wanted to sway their subjects about the things that they did in the past one reanson, and another reason..that they did to get, and to kills all our khmer intellectuals, so watch out, and don't let them tie your hands, like mr. sonando and others, who thought that they will get justic from these government, NO WAYS!. You all got to remember that if they want to jail you, they'll jail you, if they want kill you they'll kill, and NOBODY WILL HELP YOU! if you die , you die, as you can see since the UN out of Cambodia. I am saying these becuase I don't want our homeland or Cambodia becoming the second Champa( khmer called the Chhvear people.. back in the olden day ). If the thai/saim pushes from the west and the vietcong from the east, the south..then what could happen next?.. well that is impossible right?..We.. well let me refresh your memory. Since 1979 and up until now, what did we gain? nothing, except loosing or shrinking little by little.. right? Think: Let think about 10 to 20 years from now with these kinds of leadres. And who are you depending on then? there are lots of questions and lots of blanks to be fill. The longer these people stay in power, the more difficult for you to deal with...unless there is a magic wands, otherwise the UN have to intervine for the 2nd times, but if the US maybe its possible, because American congress is the strongest congress in the world....Remember the Communist Khmer Rouge proverbs- in year zero (75-79) say: " to keep you is no benefit, to destroy you no lost"...they still use this proverbs today-the leaders. why our khmer forgot so soon! Hints: If mr. san raingsy dare to testify infront of the US congress, and address ing about the Cambodian situations, and wanted support from the US to help clea! n up the Cambodia's corruptions and its governments might be work, at least to start. But i don't think mr prince sam raingsy or president sam raingsy has the will or the guts to do so... why because he has no credility, or I wish he has, if he is really a true khmer democracy fighter, and will to fight for our khmer. If he dares to do that, he can not step into his own home, so what should you do then president sam raingsy?.. USE YOUR OWN BRAIN NOT OHTERS!

message: well, let not to forget very quick about the genocide, it was not so long ago. So please pray to those whom had die and for those whom survived. It scars forever!!.. why Cambodia?..the abusedlthe tortured, the murdered, killed, the execution, also forced to work to death by this communist governments; the Communist Khmer Rouge, the Democratic of Kampuchea, the people's republic of Kampuchea had recently changed to the people party, and some of these KHMER ROUGE LEADERS now became SAMDACH- which are the acting kings. I see the United Nations did not do any thing about this. It is unacceptable in my opinion. Some of these Khmer Rouge leaders, now still control the country, and the United Nations is ignorant and disregard the rules of law of Human Rights, which its had adopted to protect the people around the world. Why are not they protect the people of Cambodia? Why did the UN kept Cambodia isolated from the world?.. if it is not so, where were the UN during 1975-1979?.. so what is the purpose of being the UN? (think: Cambodia is not in Eroupe or Africa), is the UN being a racist organization?.( Think:) Is that why the UN treated the people of Cambodia like animals or like the second class of the world? (Think:) Due to these consideration, the UN should handle the Khmer Rouge tribunal, and must find justic for the people of Cambodia, because justice have not been served yet for these matters. Beside, the killing is still going on, and the innocent Cambodians die almost every day. They are being neglected by the governments as well as the United Nations. People live in fear, trapped, and manipulated. They die of malnutritions, starvations, diseases, and aids, etc. Now the killers is topple the country, that is why Cambodians people dare not to speak about or express their free speech because of the " IF YOU TALK AGAINST US, YOU'LL DIE " policy. welcome back to our Khmer blood and soul!..Well I just wondered .. is our country is a democracy one or run by a dictator like mr. samdam h. of iraq in the 90's?.. can any body explain to me about what is going on recently, please?..The facts: Years ago the United Nation put more than 2 billions dollar(2,000,000.00)to rebuild our country,and to be free from the invaders, but still doesn't change a bit, since Jan.5,1979..the only changed is that the population gone up to almost 20 millions people now, I guess..hehe..funny hah!!the only changed is the poor khmer die of aids very day..hehehe.. funny hah!! .. the only changed is that the foreigners and the business tycoons used cambodia as their flea market...etc...but what a wasted?..let imagine yourself with 2 billions dollar to the poorest country in the world,its doesn't sound true right?,.but it was!. let just just think about it... If buy rolls carpets, it would cover the whole cambodian land.. for real ok!.. well, well.. where is the money now?..anyone knew?...hehe!! it must be drain into the toilet..hehe!!

..very funny right?..thinks about this for a while.. look at recently .. the people made the leaders as their enemy- is that what we call a democracy country?..well, well.. the democracy country doesn't run by one man for 2 decades .. clear now?..it just dosn't make sense to me...NEVER happen- unless it run by a dictator...this may sound true!!..why i said that?..let me clearify to all of you who are interested about our homeland(Cambodia),and let me pull only one fact about cambodia recently. The news in the article from the Reporter Without Borders-which indicated in their website about mr. sonando mam, who was arrested by the government and send to the interior minister?.., and then to the courthouse and guestioned by the "JUDGE"?.., for 3 hours??...but it happened..,and it was real, too. I thought the "Judge" suppose to interpret the law right?. These doesn't make sense at all..if you live in china- yes because it a communist place. I don't care about what mr. sonando said.. if he wanted to kill someone or some leaders!!.. but he was arrested because of defaming the leader?...well, well again..the words " Defaming the leader" is in the Cambodian constitution?..WOW.. who wrote that??..Did all our khmer knew about this constitution?? I want all the reporters to go, and ask all our khmer in Cambodia-that did they know about the defaming the leaders is the criminal Act?...well, well.. I don't think anybody can answer that... why??.. I thought cambodia is a freedom country right?..and what about the judge did the questioning mr. sonando for 3 hours?..well. what is the judge position? to intrepret the law or to prosecute mr. sonando?..so what is the " judge " meant in this case?.. and where are the due process?.. NONE- if it is NONE.. Cambodia is not FREE yet!.. clear a little bit right?.. it means that the leaders still communist run, ..the leaders run by the dictator,.. the leaders still run by indirect support...the leaders still run by the puppet king or the former king..the leaders not our Khmer leaders.

So, please to our khmer blood don't be happy... watch out around you, behind you, on top of you, and under your feet, too. When you heard the word freedom in Khmer, it doesn't meant freedom in this case. why I said that? We have tourists, and Khmer visitors from abroad come and go out of Cambodia every day right?.. yes its true..Well, Well ..they did this becouase they don't want to walk the same path like 1975, that's all. YOU MUST REMEMBER THIS THAT.. these puppets will do any things to pleasure its bosses. They are very, very smart,and dangerous. Their structures are very strong. They have many people behind them, and behind you, too.

So please our blood don't die for nothing, if you are really khmer blood and soul. You must live to help rebuild our homeland to prosperity rather to die for the death-it's useless! As i heard mr. prince Thomaco mensioned about being not to eat if he get arrest, and jail him by the leader. Well.. this show how stupidity he is. His honesty is not the best policy at all. To do the Hunger Strike with these leaders? what's wrong with him?..I like that he is honest, because he felt that he did nothing wrong. mr. prince ..your honesty is in the wrong place!

You know what if he starved himself to die.. they(leadres), and their loyal would be laugh, and very happy. I don't want him and the others to die, clear now?..because of you all are VERY important for our country.. to criticize our about our land being lost youare the heart of our Khmer. You know what the whole country the population almost 25 some millions people there are only 4 to some 5 persons dare to talk agianst the leaders? ... these show how weak our khmers are?...that is very bad and showed that our khmer still suffered the most...not enough educations are one thing, too.. that is the target- they knew the weaknesses of our khmer very well. Some of us fear to die.. and others rather die for nothing. Last, but not least, Cambodian( our Khmer ) had been suffered for many generations, I don't see that will end soon. as long as the traders, foreigners,and business tycoons buy the leaders' head. We, Our Khmer, can not afford to lost other life. And I wish to all of Our Khmers' hearts and souls to be alive for eternity.

The purposes of us , writing to all our khmer(Cambodians) is to remind all of you about the situations, that had happened in our homeland(Cambodia) in the past as well as in the present day, especially recently that woke me up, and I can not close my eyes any more. Let me open a little bit to you about our homeland, the land that stands in the indo-chinese peninsular( in Angkor Era), which used to call the Khmer Empire or Kingdom Of Angkor...where are the land now?.. did any body think about it or just read from the book, which the authors are all foreigners whom don't know the whole truth, but fake facts... and then copied them and put on the site for u to read. Well, it seem very educated... but no analytics. That meant show off isn't it? well, well, that is how the foreigners manipulated them, but the don't relize a thing. This that's why Khmer always fight with our Khmer.. it never end... til all of the our Khmer gone. Did anyone realize what I try to say?.. You must think.. read.. then analyze what your of what you hear or read,... open your eyes, and ears all the time. For the past 20 years, I never heard good news about our homeland. Why? and why not?.. the country is free now.. the people elected the the leaders, and our homeland is a freedom country now... well., well.. because the people elected the leader it doesn't mean it is free, because the country is a freedom country it doesn't it is free. Do you want our country free like today or do you want our country like the United State? let think about it and ask yourself... why I said that?.. there is a reason in its. Well, just think for a while for those whom who's crying everyday about out homeland. I 'll let you all go now..before I go .. the image of Cambodia

Hello ,
I would to give my opinion of what I think of the image of Cambodia is in western eyes. I would first say I visited you country a few times over the years and I find it a very beautiful country and the people very friendly I felt very safe there and never had any problems.

But what I find out when back home talking Friends or co workers when I said Cambodia was one of my destinations on my trip. The first thing some say is is dangerous there others will make comments about going to brothels to have sex with 14yr olds .That I do not do! Now I don't even say I went to Cambodia. Just saying I been some will label me as pedophile WOW !!

I know Cambodia wants to promote tourism there is a lot too see there form the temples to its culture . Its one of the best country's in Asia I be-leave you can visit.

But on the other side is the media and some NGO web site only portray the negative side of your country and that's all the media will show.Doom and gloom death and destruction sells. What I find is they update there website but they don't update what you read I see the same reports I read years ago but with a date of today making you believe its new news.

I hear the same thing from first time tourists I was with coming from Vietnam by boat .They asked if I been to Cambodia before . That I have they asked me if you see a lot of amputees from land mines she said she did not want to see that . She went on to say what about the child prostitution she hear there every where and how bad it was and with the street kids.

All I can say from me visits I never saw any thing as bad as she was describing. I never been asked if I want young girl never been taken to any place offering young girls. From what I been told from my Cambodian Friend is that years ago there was few places that it go out of hand but now its all cleaned up Just like the gang and gun problem almost non now. I know for some groups to keep funding and other political reasons they still want to keep saying its all bad there nothing has changed.

And if your doing a search for info on Cambodia you ending up running across more.

And whats with the billboard adds about abuse a child go to jail . That's a nice image to see. Know one needs a billboard to know that it wrong . How about billboards showing what Cambodia has to offer like the temples.

I'm sure a lots of groups NGO's have done a lot of good there but some will help your country but then post all negative about how bad it is. And In my opinion a lot of what is said in there web sites or fed to the news media is over inflated and some I think is just made up or they keep quoting old out dated info.

Sex tourism they call it . Well your country has been labeled that now .Like Amsterdam and Bangkok . I think the Cambodia image will be forever ruined as a child sex tourism place even I believe that you don't see any thing like that now . A normal tourist visiting don't see it is not offered to them . But some of the NGO or save the childern gropes try to keep it in the head lines for there own political or financial gain . And that make me so mad how two face they are .

I hate to see that meany tourist will not vist because of the image the news media shows of your country. And that image they show is really a very small precent but them make you beleave its 90% of your country.

And when you visit you just don't see it not offered it. You see night clubs and massage places and I see nothing wrong with that . It don't give a bad image of your country it say your country is more open with it not sex repressed like the USA .

I'm waiting for some news media or travel show to do a show on the real Cambodia showing what you have to offer the people the culture the temples and what a beautiful country Cambodia really is.

I will still visit and still try to tell people the truth about Cambodia. Thank you for letting me say a few words.

This is insane to think that the power of the Cambodian people would allow this to happen. I am very sad to learn that one man think he own a country that belong to all of us. Hun Sen did not bother to have the treaty voted in the assembly. Instead, he make his own discision. This is not his right. It is the right of the Cambodian people to decide. Border issue should be voted by all Cambodian law maker.

Hun Sen must step down or brought down. He is not our hero, he is a coward for not standing up for his country!

Aren't we Cambodian so proud of Hun Sen?

Hun Sen was a pagoda kid who grew up in the Buddish's temple, and who then had the opportunity to join the Khmer Rouge Cadet to fight for Communist as aim to change Cambodia into Indo-China. Hun Sen was among the killer of Killing Field until his term came to him that he was to be killed ( it might be he was betraying Ang Kar) but luckly he was escaped safely to Vietnam.

In 1979, Hun Sen returned with the Vietnamese troops to invade Cambodia and to over through Pot Pot regime who was Hun Sen's former boss. So the wars has went on for more than ten years and many lives were taken. Hun Sen and among many men were recognized as the hero and the savior of Cambodian. Among those many men, Hun Sen has been the man who has risen to the top rank. How would he has done that? Well, you know how!

In 1993, Hun Sen had agreed with the UNTAC to allow FUNCI and SON SAN to hold the election democratically. When CPP and Hun Sen was losing the election. The kind man Hun Sen demanded east of Cambodia in his control from FUNCI. The blood shed just about to occur again but the problem was compromised. Hun Sen got a spot as the Co-Prime minister which it has never existed in the history of the world, but Cambodian people has always done a strange thing and that why our country has been getting smaller and smaller.

Well, everyone in Cambodia dream that the compromise would have brought us the way to peace and prosperity; however, unlikely, Cambodian was turned into chao again in 1997 coupe. That was the bloody coupe between FUNCI and CPP of Hun Sen. There was war, refugee and starving; sick and desease. The people were killed and the property was looted.

And what has Hun Sen got for Cambodian this time? Now, Hun Sen has said that he is the first one who has brought the benefit to Cambodian from Vietnamese. His negogiation between Vietnam and Cambodia in 1985 has gained him on the land from Vietnamese for many thousand Km to Cambodian.

If the negogiation was so great why wouldn't Hun Sen open it to the public, especially to those non-government organizations and the opposition party to over look at the treaty. Why won't Hun Sen show the different map in 1963 and 1969 to his 1985 map of his Vietnam map? If Hun Sen so great, why would he worry about the coupe when he was leaving for Vietnam?

Well, in my opinion, Hun Sen is hiding his tail, and his Vietnamese boss has put the pressure on him to get it done with the former King Sihanouk but it was impossible, and now this time with King Sihakmoni.

My friends and friends of democracy:

The historical event took place 35 years ago as Cambodia people declared thembselves as Republic on October 9,1970. This day that freed Cambodia from feudalistic monarchy subjugation. The mood of Cambodia was elated on such a day.Cambodia was liberated from Sihanouk own sins by the true Cambodia courageous people.

This day Cambodia was no longer belonged to one family rule. This day people should determine their country destiny. This day we ,man or woman, are created equally with endowed rights to pursue life, liberty,and happiness.We were free from years of old self depricated regimes.

The day was a triumph of the legitimate struggle between the ruled and the ruler to elevate of self rule and determination. It was the victory of the common people.

My fellow Khmers, when the day comes each of us who truly embrace democracy,individual liberty,equality in man kind should be solemnly in silence and offer our sincere thanks to those of whom perished in the name of struggle to preserve our country dignity and sovereign integrity.

Cambodia people shall futher the dream and remember the day by saying 'Long Live Khmer Republic Day.'

Historians seem to agree that Cambodia has been exploited by China and Viet Nam since Chou Ta Quan landed his junks at Moha Nokor's ancient port Phnom Krom back in 13th Century. With that intuition China never really wanted to make Cambodia a self reliant and sufficient state otherwise it shouldn't have happened a long time already. Historically China sees things in different light to fit its ancient agendas. However do not be confused with China superficial kindly gesture that is no less evil imperialistic than others. How comes Cambodia is servitude to China? The resonating experience was famously reminded by many of poetic riddles of Krom Ngoy' to many in Cambodia that China origin folks did not do things as charity but eternal investment.

Cambodia state has been a mockery of humiliating, subjugation of charity, forced annexation, farce of democracy, and highly non-self-reliance as often it has looked at far away shores for assistance but the results seemed petit and unreliable. If it is the case which country can Cambodia seriously learn from in order for it to reshape and rebuild it?

With that enthusiasm what country that had publicly beaten its victors and China pants down in both economic and geo-politic after its unimaginably defeat in World War II? Of course Japan.

We were quite aware of Japan devious attempts resulted the first nuclear testing ground and victim in humanity history in August 1945. It was despicably heinous. Meanwhile it was also worthy to note the illogical scapegoat Japan as supposed to the real imperialist Germany, which was genetically relative to the victors. No matter how you look at it the World history and politic driven by Euro force still perceive other race was not supposed to be in the supremacy strata just yet. After that Japan was never the same in the humanity eyes.

Nonetheless beyond humanity chagrins and resilience, Japan overcame past misdeeds and dilemma such as societal clashes, re-emergence of militaristic and feudalistic remnants, deeply embedded corruption, cultural clashes, bankrupt treasury, reduction in arm forces, and routine in fights in its governance with unison stride. It rose steadily like a mythical phoenix of golden rays radiating to all directions of the globe once more. This time it became formidably powerful in thousand folds of its original failed imperialistic violent conquests. Its national pride and dignity was eternally re-instated with UN official kow tow.

In a nut shell Japan is to be more qualified and exemplary of its logistic and strategic posture than China or Viet Nam. Unquestionably it can offer a learning curve for Cambodia challenges.

double standard

When I heard the word "The Cambodian Higher Education.. and Royal University of Law, Economics and Science", I have felt so honor and respectful. The Cambodian present generation and future will be prosperous and intellectually.

However, when I heard that these "Cambodian Higher Education Association and Royal University of Law, Economics and Science" are going to organize the protest against the return of Sam Rainsy. I am so disappointed. I've felt that they are not using their intellectual at all. What they are about to do is call double standard. They are not aware of the political conflicts.

I would like to inform them that Cheam Channy has been in jail because Hun Sen wanted to punish the opposition by accusing the 'shadow-army'of Cheam Channy. There is nothing wrong about shadow government or shadow army. In Canada, Canadian opposition called it differently. They called it as 'critic'. The Critic Minister of Defence or the Critic Minister of Finance. They use these privilege to investigate any wrong doing by the government party, to criticize the government or to provide the solution. The trick is not Hun Sen won't aware how useless the group of shadow-army is, but he wanted to shut Cheam Channy out because he has been a well criticized to Hun Sen, and Hun Sen wanted to abolish Sam Rainsy
Party.

Yes, I am a democratic person, and yes, I am not supporting Sam Rainsy Party or Sam Rainsy, and yes, I will elect any politician that serve my purpose and my country interest, and yes, you are allowed to speak outand organize your protest, but please be aware of why you are doing that, avoid the double standard!

If you are doing it to revenge for Hun Sen embarassment, it is deadly wrong. I think the protest against Hun Sen in New York and France is a normal thing in a democracy, especially the protest againsts a dictatorship. Hun Sen is a dictatorship stateman, and there are many people who don't like his leadership. Therefore, these people want their voice to be heard. They want a reasonable piece of pie to be shared justly. Furthermore, Hun Sen has no exception from many other leaders in the world
who are dictatorship. Forexample, Chinese leader has always been protested against in many countries in the world by Chinese people who live in those countries and don't like Chinese government. It was just a few day ago in Canada where Hu Jintao whose Chinese new president,and Hu Jintao came to visit Canada, there were a lot of Chinese people in Canada came to organize the protest againt Hu Jintao.

You should see the reason behind these protests. The protestors want the host country to know that they are dealing with an absolute ruler or a dictatorship, and the policies don't fit, therefore, they want the host country to put some conditions to that country to easy up.

Cambodian in France and United States organized a peaceful protest against Hun Sen just to claim a real democracy , to ease freedom and to protect the national interest like border, poverty and corruption to name a few. What do you get from protest against Sam Rainsy? I think you are making him more important.

If I were among the Cambodian Higher Education Association and the student of Royal University in Law, Economics and Science, and who really love peace and stability. I would have thought that to organize a protest against Sam Rainsy returning to Cambodia it would not be the answere to the problem that Cheam Channy in jail, but to create political unrest. You must understand the roots of these de-stabalized political atmostspheres. The roots are the abuse of power, the revenge, the unsecure and corruption. I think the best thing to do is to urge our politicians
find a peaceful solution by put away their personal revenge and differences.

Cambodian Constitution

After I read the articles on this website, made a lot of comments about our borders and Hun Sen blocking Sihanouk from helping the border problem. I fliped the pages of our constitution:

Chapter 1 (Sovereignity)

Article 2. The Kingdom of Cambodia's territory is absolutely inviolable within its borders as defined in the 1/100,000 map drawn up between 1933 and 1953 and recognized internationally between 1963 and 1969.( Why 1963 and 1969? why not 1933?)
1)Could CIC or anyone that have access to this map make it accessible on the web site? Please!

Chapter 2 (The King)

Article 8. The King shall be the symbol of national unity and national perpetuity.

The King shall be the guarantor of national independence, sovereignity and the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Cambodia; he shall guarantee respect for the rights and freedom of citizens and respect for international treaties.

From this article the King have the right to annul all treaties signed by CCP during the 70's, 80's on borders. Why didn't Sihanouk claim borders uccupied by the neithbors, while he was King? or why the present King his son doen't do that either?

Could someone help me out? I knew they both scared of Hun Sen execution. Anything else beside that? They could bot go in exile in Peking and work it out from there.

So far as I am concern, the king needs to nullify all treaties that allow the loss of our land including Kampuchea Krom (let's call South Cambodia). He should reserve all rights to all our territiries. He has an obligation to unify our lands.

Sihanouk has abdicated his portraits from puplic displayed and his resignation as the president of Cambodian Border Council

I would like to ask our friends in Cambodia and oversea regarding the ex-King Norodom Sihanouk has abdicated his portraits from puplic displayed and his resignation as the president of Cambodian Border Council which was formed recently. Are you disappointed at Hun Sen or ex-King Sihanouk himself?

In my opinion, the result of ex-King Sihanouk resignation as the president of Cambodian Border Council and asked that his portraits be removed from public places because Hun Sen disagreed to grant the ex-King a power for a decision making due to border issues. Hun Sen has feared that the ex-King will get all the support politically.

Moreover, Hun Sen afraids that the ex-King will embarrass him over the islands and lands which Hun Sen have signed the deal with Vietnamese, and Hun Sen will be loosing his support from many Cambodian.

Not only the power have not been granted, but Hun Sen accused the Cambodian Border Committee who formed by many high profile Cambodian like the ex-king himself as a traitor. Hun Sen has blashed off this issue at many occasion, and inversely, Hun Sen appointed himself as the president of Cambodian Border Council and his donkies cabinet ministers as a member. This is aiming to block any decision that is made by the ex-King Cambodian Border Committee.

Can we trust that Hun Sen get back our lost lands and islands?

I personally never have any hope which done by Hun Sen because every time when the issue of border encroachment coming up I have heard that Hun Sen and his donkies responsed very negatively- something like there is no clear border mark or the map is not clear, or sometime, this is for a political gain for the opposition.

Well, my suggestion is get the clear map. Get the one that clear!

Moreover, Hun Sen and Vietnamese government always divert the issue like sending the Vietnamese diplomats to Cambodia and providing a piece of aids to Cambodia as a friendly neighboring.

Therefore, I conclude that Cambodian not only lost our islands and lands forever but also losing the help from the hight profile citizen like the ex-King Norodom Sihanouk because of a selfish politician like Hun Sen and his donkies only interested in keeping power over the suffering people.
