I was a big fan of Alexander McCall Smith's ability to be so prolific and funny. But another one of his books: The Sunday Philosophy Club -- is one of the few books I actively hate. Or listened to it, anyway. These audiotapes made the rounds at my office a while ago but I was studying for my MA exam and never made it past the first one.
